因为耶和华这样说：‘你们虽然没有看见风，也没有看见雨，但这山谷必充满了水，你们和你们的牲畜都可以有水喝。

蓋耶和華云、爾不見風、亦不見雨、水必盈於斯谷、爾及牲畜飲之、

雖無風雨、水必盈於斯谷、使爾及牲畜咸飲。

蓋主如是云、雖不見風、亦不見雨、水必充滿此谷、使爾及牲畜有所飲、

For this is what the Lord says: You will see neither wind nor rain, yet this valley will be filled with water, and you, your cattle and your other animals will drink.

This will happen because the Lord says,‘ You will not see wind or rain. But this valley will be filled with water. Then you, your cattle and your other animals will have water to drink.’

For thus says the Lord,‘ You shall not see wind or rain, but that streambed shall be filled with water, so that you shall drink, you, your livestock, and your animals.’

You will see neither wind nor rain, says the Lord, but this valley will be filled with water. You will have plenty for yourselves and your cattle and other animals.

For the LORD says,‘ You will not see wind or rain, but the wadi will be filled with water, and you will drink— you and your cattle and your animals.’

For the Lord says this:‘ You will not see wind, nor will you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you will drink, you, your livestock, and your other animals.

For thus says the Lord:‘ You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’

For thus saith Jehovah, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, and ye shall drink, both ye and your cattle and your beasts.

For Yahweh says,‘ You will not see wind, neither will you see rain, yet that valley will be filled with water, and you will drink, both you and your livestock and your other animals.

他使旷野变为池塘，使旱地变为水泉。

困苦和贫穷的人寻求水，却没有水；他们的舌头因口渴而干燥；我耶和华必应允他们，我以色列的神必不离弃他们。我要在光秃的高处开辟江河，在山谷之间开辟泉源；我要使旷野变为水池，使干地变成水泉。

“看哪！我要作一件新的事；现在它要发生了，难道你们还不知道吗？我要在旷野开一条道路，在荒地开挖江河。野地的走兽必尊重我，野狗和鸵鸟也必这样，因为我使旷野有水，使荒地有江河，好使我拣选的子民有水喝，

他们经过干旱的山谷，使这谷变为泉源之地，更有秋雨使这谷到处都是水池。

耶和华领他们走过荒野的时候，他们并不干渴；他为他们使水从磐石流出来。他裂开磐石，水就涌出来。

看哪，我必在何烈山那里的磐石上站在你面前；你要击打磐石，就必有水从磐石流出来，使人民可以喝。”摩西就在以色列的长老眼前这样行了。

“你要拿着杖，和你的哥哥亚伦聚集会众，在他们眼前，吩咐磐石出水；这样你就可以使磐石流出水来，给会众和他们的牲畜喝。”于是，摩西照着耶和华吩咐他的，从耶和华面前拿了杖去。摩西和亚伦聚集了会众到磐石面前；摩西对他们说：“悖逆的人哪，你们要听，我们为你们使水从磐石中流出来吗？”摩西举手，用杖击打磐石两次，就有很多水流出来，会众和他们的牲畜都喝了。

到了献晚祭的时候，以利亚先知近前来，说：“亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神耶和华，求你今天使人知道你是在以色列中的神，我是你的仆人，又是奉你的命令行这一切事。耶和华啊，求你应允我，应允我！使这民知道你耶和华是神，又知道是你使这民的心再回转过来的。”于是有耶和华的火降下来，吞灭了燔祭、木柴、石头和尘土，连沟里的水也烧干了。众人看见了，就面伏于地，说：“耶和华是神！耶和华是神！”
