Elisha announced,“ The Lord says,‘ I will fill this valley with pools of water.’

以利沙說：“耶和華這樣說：‘要在這山谷到處挖濠溝。’

以利沙便說：『永恆主這麼說：「你們在這谿谷中滿處挖溝吧！」

以利沙曰、耶和華云、於此谷中、遍掘溝洫、

遂曰、耶和華云、宜於谷中作諸溝澮、

遂曰、主如是云、當在此谷中、多掘坑阱、

and he said,“ This is what the Lord says: I will fill this valley with pools of water.

and he said,“ This is what the Lord says: This dry valley will be filled with pools of water!

Then he said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ Dig ditch after ditch in this wadi.’

And he said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Make this valley full of trenches.’

And he said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Make this valley full of ditches.’

And he said, Thus saith Jehovah, Make this valley full of trenches.

Then he said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Dig ditch after ditch in this wadi.’

And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches.

and he said,“ This is what the LORD says,‘ Make many cisterns in this valley,’

He said,“ Yahweh says,‘ Make this valley full of trenches.’

Elisha said,“ Go around to all your neighbors. Ask them for empty jars. Get as many as you can.

So a total of 151,450 men will be set apart for the camp of Reuben. They will be arranged group by group. They will start out second.Then the camp of the Levites will start out. The tent of meeting will go with them. They will march in the middle of the other camps. They will start out in the same order as they do when they set up camp. Each one will be in their own place under their flag.The groups of the camp of Ephraim will be on the west side. They will be under their flag. The leader of the tribe of Ephraim is Elishama, the son of Ammihud.
