Jehoshaphat said,“ The word of the Lord is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

Jehoshaphat said,“ The Lord speaks through him.” So the king of Israel went down to see Elisha. Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom also went there.

And Jehoshaphat said,“ The word of the Lord is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

Jehoshaphat said,“ Yes, the Lord speaks through him.” So the king of Israel, King Jehoshaphat of Judah, and the king of Edom went to consult with Elisha.

Jehoshaphat affirmed,“ The word of the LORD is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went to him.

列國的君王要作你的養父，他們的王后必作你的保姆；他們必臉伏於地向你下拜，舐你腳上的塵土。那麼，你就知道我是耶和華，那些仰望我的決不會羞愧。”

乃縵和他的隨員又回到神人那裡，他進去，站在他面前，說：“看哪！現在我知道除了在以色列以外，全地都沒有神。現在，請你收下你僕人一點禮物吧。”

撒母耳漸漸長大，耶和華與他同在，使他所說的一切話，沒有一句落空。從但到別是巴，以色列人都知道撒母耳被耶和華確立為先知。耶和華又在示羅顯現，因為耶和華在示羅藉著他的話向撒母耳啟示自己。

他拿著從以利亞身上掉下來的外衣，擊打河水，說：“耶和華以利亞的神在哪裡呢？”他一擊打河水，河水就左右分開，以利沙就走過去了。那些耶利哥的先知門徒在遠處看見，就說：“以利亞的靈在以利沙身上了。”他們就來迎接他，俯伏在地拜他。

他就出去到水源那裡，把鹽倒在那裡，然後說：“耶和華這樣說：‘我已經醫好了這水，從此不再有人死亡，地也不再沒有出產了。’”

以利沙回頭看著他們，奉耶和華的名咒詛他們。於是有兩隻母熊從樹林裡走出來，撕裂了他們中間四十二個年輕人。以利沙從那裡上迦密山，又從迦密山回到撒瑪利亞。

那些素來苦待你的人，他們的子孫都必屈身來到你那裡；所有藐視你的，都要在你的腳下跪拜；他們要稱你為耶和華的城、以色列聖者的錫安。

看哪！從撒但的一黨，就是自稱是猶太人，其實不是猶太人，而是說謊的人中，我要使他們一些人來在你腳前下拜，並且知道我已經愛了你。

神人以利沙聽見以色列王撕裂自己的衣服，就打發人去見王說：“你為甚麼撕裂自己的衣服呢？請你把他送到我這裡來吧！他就知道在以色列中有先知了。”於是乃縵帶著他的車馬來到，停在以利沙的門前。
