On the seventh day of the fifth month, in the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard, an official of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

Nebuzaradan was an official of the king of Babylon. In fact, he was commander of the royal guard. He came to Jerusalem. It was in the 19th year that Nebuchadnezzar was king of Babylon. It was on the seventh day of the fifth month.

In the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month— that was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon— Nebuzaradan, the captain of the bodyguard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

On August 14 of that year, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar’s reign, Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard and an official of the Babylonian king, arrived in Jerusalem.

On the seventh day of the fifth month— which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon— Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guards, a servant of the king of Babylon, entered Jerusalem.

Now on the seventh day of the fifth month, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguards, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month( which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon), Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

Now in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒十九年五月初十日，在巴比倫王面前侍立的護衛長尼布撒拉旦進入耶路撒冷，用火焚燒耶和華的殿和王宮，又焚燒耶路撒冷的房屋，就是各大戶家的房屋。跟從護衛長迦勒底的全軍就拆毀耶路撒冷四圍的城牆。那時護衛長尼布撒拉旦將民中最窮的和城裏所剩下的百姓，並已經投降巴比倫王的人，以及大眾所剩下的人，都擄去了。但護衛長尼布撒拉旦留下些民中最窮的，使他們修理葡萄園，耕種田地。 (cunpt)

耶利米鎖在耶路撒冷和猶大被擄到巴比倫的人中，護衛長尼布撒拉旦將他從拉瑪釋放以後，耶和華的話臨到耶利米。護衛長將耶利米叫來，對他說：「耶和華－你的神曾說要降這禍與此地。耶和華使這禍臨到，照他所說的行了；因為你們得罪耶和華，沒有聽從他的話，所以這事臨到你們。現在我解開你手上的鍊子，你若看與我同往巴比倫去好，就可以去，我必厚待你；你若看與我同往巴比倫去不好，就不必去。看哪，全地在你面前，你以為哪裏美好，哪裏合宜，只管上那裏去吧！」 (cunpt)

地上的君王和世上的居民都不信敵人和仇敵能進耶路撒冷的城門。 (cunpt)

迦勒底人用火焚燒王宮和百姓的房屋，又拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆。那時，護衛長尼布撒拉旦將城裏所剩下的百姓和投降他的逃民，以及其餘的民都擄到巴比倫去了。護衛長尼布撒拉旦卻將民中毫無所有的窮人留在猶大地，當時給他們葡萄園和田地。巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒提到耶利米，囑咐護衛長尼布撒拉旦說：「你領他去，好好地看待他，切不可害他；他對你怎麼說，你就向他怎麼行。」護衛長尼布撒拉旦和尼布沙斯班－拉撒力、尼甲‧沙利薛－拉墨，並巴比倫王的一切官長，打發人去，將耶利米從護衛兵院中提出來，交與沙番的孫子亞希甘的兒子基大利，帶回家去。於是耶利米住在民中。 (cunpt)

猶大王約雅斤被擄後三十七年，巴比倫王以未‧米羅達元年十二月二十七日，使猶大王約雅斤擡頭，提他出監； (cunpt)

「萬軍之耶和華如此說：四月、五月禁食的日子，七月、十月禁食的日子，必變為猶大家歡喜快樂的日子和歡樂的節期；所以你們要喜愛誠實與和平。」 (cunpt)

猶大王約雅斤和他母親、臣僕、首領、太監一同出城，投降巴比倫王；巴比倫王便拿住他。那時是巴比倫王第八年。 (cunpt)
