His offering consisted of a silver platter weighing 3 1/4 pounds and a silver basin weighing 1 3/4 pounds( as measured by the weight of the sanctuary shekel). These were both filled with grain offerings of choice flour moistened with olive oil.He also brought a gold container weighing four ounces, which was filled with incense.

He also made seven lamps for the lampstand, lamp snuffers, and trays, all of pure gold.

When all the repairs were finished, they brought the remaining money to the king and Jehoiada. It was used to make various articles for the Temple of the Lord— articles for worship services and for burnt offerings, including ladles and other articles made of gold and silver. And the burnt offerings were sacrificed continually in the Temple of the Lord during the lifetime of Jehoiada the priest.
