The Lord sent Babylonian, Aramean, Moabite and Ammonite raiders against him to destroy Judah, in accordance with the word of the Lord proclaimed by his servants the prophets.

The Lord sent robbers against Jehoiakim from Babylon, Aram, Moab and Ammon. He sent them to destroy Judah. That’s what the Lord had said would happen. He had spoken that message through his servants the prophets.

And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldeans and bands of the Syrians and bands of the Moabites and bands of the Ammonites, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord that he spoke by his servants the prophets.

於是王為他們預備盛大的宴會；他們吃喝完了，王打發他們離去，他們就回到他們的主人那裡去了。從此，亞蘭的軍隊不再侵犯以色列地了。

因此耶和華這樣說：‘看哪！我必把這城交在迦勒底人的手中，交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中，他必攻取這城。

所以，為你們的緣故，錫安必像被耕種的田地，耶路撒冷必變為亂堆，這殿的山要成為叢林中的高岡。

他還在說話的時候，又有人來說：“迦勒底人分成三隊突襲駱駝，把牠們擄去，又用刀殺了僕人，只有我一個人逃脫，來向你報告。”

於是我說：“主啊，這要到幾時為止呢？”他回答說：“直到城鎮荒涼，無人居住；房屋空置無人，地土廢棄荒涼。耶和華要把人遷到遠方，在這境內必有很多被撇下的地土。

他們從遠地而來，從天邊而來。就是耶和華和他惱怒的工具，要毀滅這全地。

以利沙死了，也埋葬了。摩押人常在每年春天入侵以色列地。有人正在埋葬死人的時候，看見一群來侵略的人，他們就把死屍丟在以利沙的墳上，隨即走了。死屍碰著以利沙的骨頭就復活了，雙腳站了起來。

我就必使這殿像示羅一樣，使這城成為地上列國咒詛的對象。’”

曾有一個人，就是基列．耶琳人示瑪雅的兒子烏利亞，他奉耶和華的名說預言，攻擊這城和這地，他的預言和耶利米所說的一樣。

因此耶和華領亞述王的將帥來攻打他們，用鈎子鈎著瑪拿西，用銅鍊鎖住他，把他帶到巴比倫去。

“耶和華必使災難的日子臨到你和你的人民，以及你的父家，自從以法蓮脫離猶大以來，未曾有過這樣的日子，就是亞述王的入侵。”

“耶和華必從遠方，從地極把一國的民帶來，像鷹一般飛來攻擊你；這民的語言你不會聽；這民臉無羞恥，不顧老年人的情面，也不恩待青年人。
