He carried all Jerusalem into exile: all the officers and fighting men, and all the skilled workers and artisans— a total of ten thousand. Only the poorest people of the land were left.

Nebuchadnezzar took all the people of Jerusalem to the land of Babylon as prisoners. That included all the officers and fighting men. It also included all the skilled workers. The total number of prisoners was 10,000. Only the poorest people were left in the land.

He carried away all Jerusalem and all the officials and all the mighty men of valor, 10,000 captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths. None remained, except the poorest people of the land.

King Nebuchadnezzar took all of Jerusalem captive, including all the commanders and the best of the soldiers, craftsmen, and artisans— 10,000 in all. Only the poorest people were left in the land.

第三十年四月五日，我正在迦巴鲁河畔被掳的人当中，忽然天开了，我看见了上帝的异象。那是约雅斤王被掳第五年的四月五日，

躲在乡村的犹大将领和士兵听说巴比伦王委任亚希甘的儿子基大利管理犹大的穷人，就是没有被掳到巴比伦的男女妇孺，

使犹大国臣服于他，无法图强，只能遵守盟约，以求生存。

只留下一些最贫穷的人，让他们照料葡萄园、耕种田地。

巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷把犹大王约雅敬的儿子耶哥尼雅、犹大的官员、技工和工匠掳到巴比伦以后，耶和华使我看见两筐无花果放在祂的殿前。一筐无花果极好，好像初熟的果子；另一筐则坏得不能吃。耶和华问我：“耶利米啊，你看见什么？”我回答说：“无花果。好的好极了，坏的坏得不能吃。”耶和华便对我说：“以色列的上帝耶和华这样说，‘那些从这里被掳到迦勒底的犹大人在我眼中是好无花果。

西弗人去基比亚见扫罗，说：“大卫就躲在我们那里，在旷野南面哈基拉山上何利沙的堡垒里。王啊，你随时都可以下来，我们一定把他交在王的手里。”扫罗说：“愿耶和华赐福给你们！因为你们体恤我。我听说他非常狡猾，你们再回去弄清楚他的行踪，谁在那里见过他，

却让那些一贫如洗的穷人留在犹大，将葡萄园和田地分给他们。

约雅斤十八岁登基，在耶路撒冷执政三个月零十天。他做耶和华视为恶的事。那年春天，尼布甲尼撒王派人把他和耶和华殿里的贵重器皿一同带到巴比伦。尼布甲尼撒另立约雅斤的叔叔西底迦做犹大和耶路撒冷的王。
