又從猶大諸邑、攜諸祭司而出、污衊祭司昔所焚香之崇邱、自迦巴至別是巴、並毀城門左、邑宰約書亞門前之崇邱、

昔自基巴至別是巴、皆有崇坵、眾祭司焚香其上、今為約西亞所污、邑宰約書亞門左、亦有崇坵、約西亞毀之、徙猶大諸邑崇坵之祭司於耶路撒冷、不許附耶和華祭壇、惟在同儕中食無酵餅而已。

Josiah brought all the priests from the towns of Judah and desecrated the high places, from Geba to Beersheba, where the priests had burned incense. He broke down the gateway at the entrance of the Gate of Joshua, the city governor, which was on the left of the city gate.

He destroyed the shrines at the entrance to the gate of Joshua, the governor of Jerusalem. This gate was located to the left of the city gate as one enters the city.

Then Josiah brought all the priests from the cities of Judah, and he defiled the high places from Geba to Beer-sheba, where the priests had burned incense. He tore down the high places of the city gates at the entrance of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city( on the left at the city gate).

He brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba; and he broke down the high places of the gates that were at the entrance of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man’s left hand at the gate of the city.

亞撒王集猶大民眾、不遺一人、使移巴沙建拉瑪之石與木、亞撒王用以建便雅憫之迦巴迦巴即基比亞與米斯巴、

又在便雅憫支派中、予之基遍與其郊、迦巴與其郊、

以撒離彼、往別是巴、

過隘口、宿於迦巴、拉瑪人驚惶、掃羅之基比亞人遁逃、

以二人在彼相誓、故名其地曰別是巴、別示巴譯即盟誓井之義

在便雅憫支派中得迦巴及其郊、亞勒篾及其郊、亞拿突及其郊、其諸家所得者共十三邑、

於是以色列人咸出、會眾自但至別是巴、以及基列地、如一人聚於主前、在米斯巴、

全地必變為平原、變為平原或作變若亞拉巴自迦巴延及臨門、在耶路撒冷之南、耶路撒冷城必將高起、高起或作崛興其中人民、仍居原處、自便雅憫門至於古門之處、古門之處或作先前有門之處延及邑隅之門、自哈楠業戍樓至王之壓酒處、

以利亞睹斯景況、或作以利亞懼遂起逃遁以保生命、至猶大之別是巴而留其僕、
