又從猶大諸邑、攜諸祭司而出、污衊祭司昔所焚香之崇邱、自迦巴至別是巴、並毀城門左、邑宰約書亞門前之崇邱、

昔自基巴至別是巴、皆有崇坵、眾祭司焚香其上、今為約西亞所污、邑宰約書亞門左、亦有崇坵、約西亞毀之、徙猶大諸邑崇坵之祭司於耶路撒冷、不許附耶和華祭壇、惟在同儕中食無酵餅而已。

亚撒王令全国的犹大人出动，将巴沙修筑拉玛城的石头和木材搬走，用来修建便雅悯的迦巴和米斯巴。

他们过了关口，在迦巴宿营。拉玛人战战兢兢，扫罗的乡亲基比亚人仓皇逃跑。

所以，那地方被称为别示巴，因为他们二人在那里起了誓。

他们还得到了便雅悯支派的迦巴、阿勒篾、亚拿突及这些城邑周围的草场。他们各宗族所得的城邑共十三座。

于是，从但到别示巴以及基列的全体以色列人万众一心，来到米斯巴，聚集在耶和华面前。

从迦巴直到耶路撒冷南边的临门，整个地区都要变为平原。从便雅悯门到旧门，再到角门，从哈楠业楼到王的榨酒池——耶路撒冷必仍然矗立在原处。

以利亚很害怕，连忙逃命，来到犹大的别示巴。他让仆人留在那里，
