猶大王希西家遣人至拉吉、見亞述王曰、我知罪矣、請勿侵我國、惟爾命是聽。亞述王責貢於猶大王希西家金四萬五千兩、銀四十五萬兩。

延至立拉、及河源之東、至基尼烈海東濱、

暴戾宜遭刑、赦之必再犯。

其人遂往窺地、自汛野至哩哈、近哈馬之道。

當時埃及王法老尼哥、往百辣河、攻亞述王、約西亞王禦之、被殺於米吉多。

埃及王尼哥廢之、責民貢銀十五萬兩、金一千五百兩、放王於埃及、立其弟以利亞金、治猶大耶路撒冷、易名曰約雅金。

中有一獅、日漸長大、能搏物噬人、列國聞之、陷以坑阱、繫以鐵索、曳至埃及。

相鬥誤擊妊婦墮胎、而無他害、則當罰金、依夫所定、折中於士師。
