猶大王希西家差人往拉吉去見亞述王，說：「我有罪了，求你離開我；凡你罰我的，我必承當。」於是亞述王罰猶大王希西家銀子三百他連得，金子三十他連得。

這界要從示番下到亞延東邊的利比拉，又要達到基尼烈湖的東邊。

暴怒的人必受刑罰；你若救他，必須再救。

他們上去窺探那地，從尋的曠野到利合，直到哈馬口。

約西亞年間，埃及王法老尼哥上到幼發拉底河攻擊亞述王；約西亞王去抵擋他。埃及王遇見約西亞在米吉多，就殺了他。

埃及王在耶路撒冷廢了他，又罰猶大國銀子一百他連得，金子一他連得。埃及王尼哥立約哈斯的哥哥以利雅敬作猶大和耶路撒冷的王，改名叫約雅敬，又將約哈斯帶到埃及去了。

在牠小獅子中養大一個，成了少壯獅子，學會抓食而吃人。列國聽見了就把牠捉在他們的坑中，用鈎子拉到埃及地去。

「人若彼此爭鬥，傷害有孕的婦人，甚至墜胎，隨後卻無別害，那傷害她的，總要按婦人的丈夫所要的，照審判官所斷的，受罰。
