犹大王希西家差人往拉吉去见亚述王，说：“我有罪了，求你离开我；凡你罚我的，我必承当。”于是亚述王罚犹大王希西家银子三百他连得，金子三十他连得。

这界要从示番下到亚延东边的利比拉，又要达到基尼烈湖的东边。

暴怒的人必受刑罚；你若救他，必须再救。

他们上去窥探那地，从寻的旷野到利合，直到哈马口。

约西亚年间，埃及王法老尼哥上到幼发拉底河攻击亚述王；约西亚王去抵挡他。埃及王遇见约西亚在米吉多，就杀了他。

埃及王在耶路撒冷废了他，又罚犹大国银子一百他连得，金子一他连得。埃及王尼哥立约哈斯的哥哥以利雅敬作犹大和耶路撒冷的王，改名叫约雅敬，又将约哈斯带到埃及去了。

在它小狮子中养大一个，成了少壮狮子，学会抓食而吃人。列国听见了就把它捉在他们的坑中，用钩子拉到埃及地去。

“人若彼此争斗，伤害有孕的妇人，甚至坠胎，随后却无别害，那伤害她的，总要按妇人的丈夫所要的，照审判官所断的，受罚。
