Neither in the days of the judges who led Israel nor in the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah had any such Passover been observed.

A Passover Feast like that one had not been held for a long time. There hadn’t been any like it in the days of the judges who led Israel. And there hadn’t been any like it during the whole time the kings of Israel and Judah were ruling.

For no such Passover had been kept since the days of the judges who judged Israel, or during all the days of the kings of Israel or of the kings of Judah.

There had not been a Passover celebration like that since the time when the judges ruled in Israel, nor throughout all the years of the kings of Israel and Judah.

No such Passover had ever been observed from the time of the judges who judged Israel through the entire time of the kings of Israel and Judah.

Truly such a Passover had not been celebrated since the days of the judges who judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah.

Such a Passover surely had never been held since the days of the judges who judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah.

Surely there was not kept such a passover from the days of the judges that judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah;

No such Passover had ever been kept from the time of the judges who judged Israel through the entire time of the kings of Israel and Judah.

Surely there was not holden such a passover from the days of the judges that judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah;

He issued this edict because a Passover like this had not been observed since the days of the judges; it was neglected for the entire period of the kings of Israel and Judah.

Surely there was not kept such a Passover from the days of the judges who judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah;

希西家召以色列猶大二族、復致書以法蓮馬拿西二支派、使至耶路撒冷、詣耶和華殿守逾越節、奉事以色列族之上帝耶和華。正月祭司未得成潔、民未咸至耶路撒冷、不能守此禮、故王與群伯及耶路撒冷會眾、議於二月守逾越節。

利未人潔己、奉事耶和華、以其道訓迪以色列人、約西亞告之曰、以色列王大闢子所羅門所建之殿、當置聖匱於中、毋庸肩負、役事爾之上帝耶和華、輔翼以色列民、爾當自備、按爾譜系、循爾班列、遵以色列王大闢及其子所羅門命、凡利未族可依同儕以色列之支派、立於聖所、宰逾越節羔、自潔其身、使爾同宗咸潔、遵耶和華所諭摩西之命。約西亞以己之山羊綿羊羔三萬、犢三千、頒錫兆民、為逾越節禮。諸伯樂輸、以牲牷頒祭司利未人、及國之億兆治理殿者、希勒家、撒加利亞、耶歇、頒祭司以逾越節、羊二千六百、牛三百。哥挪尼、示罵雅、拿但業、及同宗、利未族長、哈沙庇、耶葉、約撒八、頒利未人以逾越節、羊五千、牛五百。禮物均備、祭司立於其所、利未人循其班列、俱遵王命。宰逾越節羔、利未人剝皮、畀血於祭司、祭司灑之。遂取燔祭之牛羊、按民世系、以匪頒之、俾獻耶和華、循摩西書所載、炙逾越節羔循其常例、其餘牲牷、烹於釜甑鼎鑊、即頒於眾、祭司務獻燔祭、及脂、至於薄暮、故利未人烹肉、為己亦為亞倫子孫、咸作祭司者、供其飲食。亞薩子孫、職謳歌、立於其次循大闢、與奉王命為先見者耶土頓及亞薩、希慢所諭。司閽恆在門、故同宗利未人為之烹肉。是日獻逾越節羔、燔祭於壇、奉事耶和華、遵王約西亞命。以色列族守逾越節、及無酵節、歷七日。自先知撒母耳時、迄於今日、以色列族列王、未守逾越節、若約西亞、祭司利未人、猶大以色列二族、耶路撒冷民所守者。約西亞十八年、守逾越節。○

二月會眾至耶路撒冷、守無酵節、不可勝數。在耶路撒冷、獻祭之壇、焚香之壇、民去之、投於汲淪溪、惟耶和華之壇存焉。二月十四日、人宰逾越節羔、祭司及利未人深以為恥、自潔其身、攜燔祭入耶和華殿、各立其所、循常例、遵上帝僕摩西律例、利未人畀血於祭司、祭司灑之。會中之人、未潔者眾、弗敢宰逾越節羔、利未人代宰、則於耶和華前、可為潔。以法蓮、馬拿西、以薩迦、西布倫、所至民眾、未潔其體、守逾越節、不循常例、希西家禱曰、如人崇列祖之上帝耶和華、惟一其心、雖不潔己、循聖所之例、耶和華無不善、願蒙赦宥。
