Deuteronomy 16:1-8
Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto Jehovah thy God; for in the month of Abib Jehovah thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.And thou shalt sacrifice the passover unto Jehovah thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which Jehovah shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.And there shall be no leaven seen with thee in all thy borders seven days; neither shall any of the flesh, which thou sacrificest the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee;but at the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread; and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to Jehovah thy God; thou shalt do no work therein.

Numbers 9:2-5
Moreover let the children of Israel keep the passover in its appointed season.In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in its appointed season: according to all the statutes of it, and according to all the ordinances thereof, shall ye keep it.And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover.And they kept the passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at even, in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that Jehovah commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.

Numbers 28:16-25
And in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, is Jehovah’s passover.And on the fifteenth day of this month shall be a feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.In the first day shall be a holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work;but ye shall offer an offering made by fire, a burnt- offering unto Jehovah: two young bullocks, and one ram, and seven he- lambs a year old; they shall be unto you without blemish;and their meal- offering, fine flour mingled with oil: three tenth parts shall ye offer for a bullock, and two tenth parts for the ram;a tenth part shalt thou offer for every lamb of the seven lambs;and one he- goat for a sin- offering, to make atonement for you.Ye shall offer these besides the burnt- offering of the morning, which is for a continual burnt- offering.After this manner ye shall offer daily, for seven days, the food of the offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah: it shall be offered besides the continual burnt- offering, and the drink- offering thereof.And on the seventh day ye shall have a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.

Exodus 12:3-20
Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household:and if the household be too little for a lamb, then shall he and his neighbor next unto his house take one according to the number of the souls; according to every man’s eating ye shall make your count for the lamb.Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old: ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:and ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at even.And they shall take of the blood, and put it on the two side- posts and on the lintel, upon the houses wherein they shall eat it.And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; with bitter herbs they shall eat it.Eat not of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire; its head with its legs and with the inwards thereof.And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.And thus shall ye eat it: with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is Jehovah’s passover.For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will smite all the first- born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am Jehovah.And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.And this day shall be unto you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to Jehovah: throughout your generations ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.And in the first day there shall be to you a holy convocation, and in the seventh day a holy convocation; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done by you.And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your hosts out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day throughout your generations by an ordinance for ever.In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a sojourner, or one that is born in the land.Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.

Leviticus 23:5-8
In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, is Jehovah’s passover.And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto Jehovah: seven days ye shall eat unleavened bread.In the first day ye shall have a holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work.But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Jehovah seven days: in the seventh day is a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.

And Josiah kept a passover unto Jehovah in Jerusalem: and they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.And he set the priests in their offices, and encouraged them to the service of the house of Jehovah.And he said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, that were holy unto Jehovah, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; there shall no more be a burden upon your shoulders. Now serve Jehovah your God, and his people Israel;and prepare yourselves after your fathers’ houses by your courses, according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing of Solomon his son.And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the fathers’ houses of your brethren the children of the people, and let there be for each a portion of a fathers’ house of the Levites.And kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare for your brethren, to do according to the word of Jehovah by Moses.And Josiah gave to the children of the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all of them for the passover- offerings, unto all that were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bullocks: these were of the king’s substance.And his princes gave for a freewill- offering unto the people, to the priests, and to the Levites. Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, the rulers of the house of God, gave unto the priests for the passover- offerings two thousand and six hundred small cattle, and three hundred oxen.Conaniah also, and Shemaiah and Nethanel, his brethren, and Hashabiah and Jeiel and Jozabad, the chiefs of the Levites, gave unto the Levites for the passover- offerings five thousand small cattle, and five hundred oxen.So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites by their courses, according to the king’s commandment.And they killed the passover, and the priests sprinkled the blood which they received of their hand, and the Levites flayed them.And they removed the burnt- offerings, that they might give them according to the divisions of the fathers’ houses of the children of the people, to offer unto Jehovah, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.And they roasted the passover with fire according to the ordinance: and the holy offerings boiled they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and carried them quickly to all the children of the people.And afterward they prepared for themselves, and for the priests, because the priests the sons of Aaron were busied in offering the burnt- offerings and the fat until night: therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of Aaron.And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king’s seer; and the porters were at every gate: they needed not to depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.So all the service of Jehovah was prepared the same day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt- offerings upon the altar of Jehovah, according to the commandment of king Josiah.And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did any of the kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josiah was this passover kept.
