把它们祭司的骸骨放在它们的坛上焚烧。这样，他洁净了犹大和耶路撒冷。

以利亚对他们说：“抓住巴力的先知，别放走一个人！”众人就抓住他们，以利亚把他们带到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。

上帝的仆人奉耶和华的命令向祭坛喊道：“祭坛啊，祭坛啊，耶和华说，必有一子在大卫家出生，他名叫约西亚。他要在你上面杀死这些献祭的祭司，在你上面焚烧人的骨头。”

必须处死那些先知或解梦的人，因为他们怂恿你们背叛你们的上帝耶和华、偏离祂吩咐你们当走的道路。你们的上帝耶和华曾带你们离开埃及，救你们脱离奴役。你们必须清除你们当中的邪恶。

“到那天，我必铲除地上偶像的名号，使它们被人遗忘；我必除去地上的假先知和污秽的灵。这是万军之耶和华说的。若有人再说预言，他的亲生父母必对他说，‘你不得活命，因为你奉耶和华的名说谎。’他说预言的时候，他的亲生父母必把他刺死。
