He went up to the temple of the Lord with the people of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the priests and the prophets— all the people from the least to the greatest. He read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant, which had been found in the temple of the Lord.

He went up to the Lord’ s temple. The people of Judah and Jerusalem went with him. So did the priests and prophets. All of them went, from the least important of them to the most important. The king had all the words of the Book of the Covenant read to them. The book had been found in the Lord’ s temple.

And the king went up to the house of the Lord, and with him all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem and the priests and the prophets, all the people, both small and great. And he read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant that had been found in the house of the Lord.

And the king went up to the Temple of the Lord with all the people of Judah and Jerusalem, along with the priests and the prophets— all the people from the least to the greatest. There the king read to them the entire Book of the Covenant that had been found in the Lord’s Temple.

And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the LORD.

The king went up to the LORD’s temple, accompanied by all the people of Judah, all the residents of Jerusalem, the priests, and the prophets. All the people were there, from the youngest to the oldest. He read aloud all the words of the scroll of the covenant that had been discovered in the LORD’s temple.

我又看見死了的人，無論大小，都站在寶座前。案卷都展開了，並另有一卷展開，就是生命冊。死了的人都憑着這些案卷所記載的，照他們所行的受審判。

他們在猶大教導，帶着耶和華的律法書，走遍猶大各城教導百姓。

「把這律法書拿來，放在耶和華－你們上帝的約櫃旁，可以在那裏作指責你們的見證。

大的小的都在那裏，奴僕脫離主人得自由。

那日的四分之一，他們站在自己的地方念耶和華－他們上帝的律法書，又在那日的四分之一認罪，敬拜耶和華－他們的上帝。

然而，我蒙上帝的幫助，直到今日還站立得穩，向尊貴的和卑微的作見證。我所講的，並不外乎眾先知和摩西所說將來必成的事，

他們擊打門外的人，無論老少，都眼睛迷糊，找門找得很煩躁。

這些日子滿了，王又為所有住書珊城堡的百姓，無論大小，在御花園的院子裏擺設宴席七日。

他們擄去城內的婦女和城中的大小人口，一個都沒有殺，全都帶走，他們就上路去了。

運到之後，耶和華的手擊打那城，使那城的人非常驚慌，無論大小都生痔瘡。

在那日，百姓聽到人朗讀摩西的律法書，發現書上寫着，亞捫人和摩押人永不可入上帝的會；

那時，眾百姓如同一人聚集在水門前的廣場，請以斯拉文士將耶和華吩咐以色列的摩西的律法書帶來。七月初一，以斯拉祭司將律法書帶到聽了能明白的男女會眾面前。他在水門前的廣場，從清早到中午，在男女和能明白的人面前讀這律法書，眾百姓都側耳而聽。以斯拉文士站在為這事特製的木臺上。站在他旁邊的有瑪他提雅、示瑪、亞奈雅、烏利亞和希勒家；站在他右邊的有瑪西雅；站在他左邊的有毗大雅、米沙利、瑪基雅、哈順、哈拔大拿、撒迦利亞和米書蘭。以斯拉站在上面，在眾百姓眼前展開這書。他一展開，眾百姓都站起來。以斯拉稱頌耶和華至大的上帝，眾百姓都舉手應聲說：「阿們！阿們！」他們低頭，俯伏在地，敬拜耶和華。耶書亞、巴尼、示利比、雅憫、亞谷、沙比太、荷第雅、瑪西雅、基利他、亞撒利雅、約撒拔、哈難、毗萊雅和利未人使百姓明白律法；百姓都站在自己的地方。他們清清楚楚地念上帝的律法書，講明意思，使百姓明白所念的。

凡不尋求耶和華－以色列上帝的，無論大小、男女，必被處死。

凡敬畏耶和華的，無論大小，主必賜福給他。

約櫃裏沒有別的，只有兩塊石版，就是以色列人出埃及地，耶和華與他們立約的時候，摩西在何烈山放在那裏的。
