你們當中不可有人焚燒自己的子女作祭物，不可有人占卜、算命、作法、行邪術、

他不但在欣嫩子谷燒香，還效法耶和華在以色列人面前趕走的外族人的可憎行徑，焚燒自己的兒子作祭物。

「你去向陶匠買一個瓦瓶，帶著百姓和祭司中的一些首領到哈珥西城門旁的欣嫩子谷，在那裡宣告我的話。

在耶路撒冷東面的山上，所羅門为摩押人可憎的神明基抹和亞捫人可憎的神明摩洛修建邱壇。

把自己的兒女燒死獻作祭物。他們占卜，行邪術，出賣自己去做耶和華視為惡的事，惹祂發怒。

反而步以色列諸王的後塵，效法耶和華在以色列人面前趕走的外族人的可憎行徑，把自己的兒子焚燒獻作祭物。

你們至今仍把自己的兒子燒作祭物獻給偶像，玷污自己嗎？以色列人啊，我會讓你們求問嗎？主耶和華說，我憑我的永恆起誓，我決不讓你們求問。

她們淫蕩，手上沾滿血腥，與偶像淫亂，把為我所生的兒女燒死獻給偶像。同時，她們還在同一天玷污我的聖所，褻瀆我的安息日，她們焚燒自己的兒女獻祭給偶像，並在當天進入我的聖所，褻瀆聖所。這就是她們在我聖所裡的惡行。

他還在欣嫩子谷把自己的兒子燒死，獻作祭物。他行巫術、占卜、觀兆，求問靈媒和巫師。他做了許多耶和華視為惡的事，惹耶和華發怒。

你竟屠殺我的兒女，把他們焚燒獻給偶像。

但我告訴你們，凡無緣無故向弟兄發怒的，要受審判；凡罵弟兄是白癡的，要受公會的審判；凡罵弟兄是笨蛋的，難逃地獄的火。

他燒死自己的兒子，獻作祭物；他行邪術，占卜，求問靈媒和巫師，做了許多耶和華視為惡的事，惹耶和華發怒。

任由他們把自己的長子燒作祭物獻給偶像，以致玷污自己——好使他們充滿恐懼，這樣他們便知道我是耶和華。』
