Entrust this money to the men assigned to supervise the restoration of the Lord’s Temple. Then they can use it to pay workers to repair the Temple.

交给耶和华殿里办事的人，使他们转交耶和华殿里做工的人，好修理殿的破坏之处，

Have them entrust it to the men appointed to supervise the work on the temple. And have these men pay the workers who repair the temple of the Lord—

Have them put all the money in the care of certain men. These men have been put in charge of the work on the Lord’ s temple. Have them pay the workers who repair it.

And let it be given into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of the house of the Lord, and let them give it to the workmen who are at the house of the Lord, repairing the house

It is to be given to those doing the work— those who oversee the LORD’s temple. They in turn are to give it to the workmen in the LORD’s temple to repair the damage.

And have them hand it over to the workmen who have the oversight of the house of the Lord, and have them give it to the workmen who are in the house of the Lord to repair the damage to the house:

And let them deliver it into the hand of those doing the work, who are the overseers in the house of the Lord; let them give it to those who are in the house of the Lord doing the work, to repair the damages of the house—

and let them deliver it into the hand of the workmen that have the oversight of the house of Jehovah; and let them give it to the workmen that are in the house of Jehovah, to repair the breaches of the house,

It is to be put into the hands of those doing the work— those who oversee the Lord’s temple. They in turn are to give it to the workmen in the Lord’s temple to repair the damage.

And let them deliver it into the hand of the doers of the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD: and let them give it to the doers of the work which[ is] in the house of the LORD, to repair the breaches of the house,

Have them hand it over to the construction foremen assigned to the LORD’s temple. They in turn should pay the temple workers to repair it,

Let them deliver it into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of Yahweh’s house; and let them give it to the workmen who are in Yahweh’s house, to repair the damage to the house,

Then they gave the money to the construction supervisors, who used it to pay the people working on the Lord’s Temple— the carpenters, the builders,the masons, and the stonecutters. They also used the money to buy the timber and the finished stone needed for repairing the Lord’s Temple, and they paid any other expenses related to the Temple’s restoration.The money brought to the Temple was not used for making silver bowls, lamp snuffers, basins, trumpets, or other articles of gold or silver for the Temple of the Lord.It was paid to the workmen, who used it for the Temple repairs.

Let the priests take some of that money to pay for whatever repairs are needed at the Temple.”

Over the years the followers of wicked Athaliah had broken into the Temple of God, and they had used all the dedicated things from the Temple of the Lord to worship the images of Baal.

Then the people hired masons and carpenters and bought cedar logs from the people of Tyre and Sidon, paying them with food, wine, and olive oil. The logs were brought down from the Lebanon mountains and floated along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to Joppa, for King Cyrus had given permission for this.

The king and Jehoiada gave the money to the construction supervisors, who hired masons and carpenters to restore the Temple of the Lord. They also hired metalworkers, who made articles of iron and bronze for the Lord’s Temple.The men in charge of the renovation worked hard and made steady progress. They restored the Temple of God according to its original design and strengthened it.
