Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I have spoken against this place and its people— that they would become a curse and be laid waste— and because you tore your robes and wept in my presence, I also have heard you, declares the Lord.

难道你轻视神丰富的仁慈、宽容、耐心，不明白他的仁慈是引领你来悔改的吗？可是你照着顽固和不悔改的心，为那震怒的日子，就是神公义审判显现的日子，给自己积蓄了震怒。

不过他赐下更大的恩典，所以经上说：“神抵挡骄傲的人，赐恩典给谦卑的人。”因此，你们要服从神，要抵挡魔鬼，魔鬼就会逃避你们。你们要亲近神，神就会亲近你们。你们这些罪人哪，当使你们的手洁净！心怀二意的人哪，当使你们的心纯洁！你们应当难过、悲伤、痛哭；把你们的欢笑变为悲伤，快乐变为忧闷。你们当在主面前降卑，他就会高举你们。

耶稣快到耶路撒冷的时候，看见那城，就为她哭泣，

我极其忧伤，心里时常苦痛。为了我的同胞，我的骨肉之亲，就算我自己被诅咒、与基督分离，我也愿意。

耶和华宣告：“这一切是我手所造的，这一切就因此存在了。我要看顾这样的人，就是谦卑、灵里痛悔、因我的话语而战兢的人。

因耶和华的话语而战兢的人哪，你们要听他的话！他说：“你们的兄弟，就是那些恨恶你们、因我名的缘故逼迫你们的，曾说：‘愿耶和华得荣耀，好让我们看见你们的喜乐吧！’他们却必蒙羞。”

你们这些心里顽固、远离公义的人哪，要听我的话！
