Say this to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD:‘ This is what the LORD God of Israel says: As for the words that you heard,

But to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the Lord, this is what you shall say to him:“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ Regarding the words which you have heard,

But as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the Lord, in this manner you shall speak to him,‘ Thus says the Lord God of Israel:“ Concerning the words which you have heard—

But unto the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of Jehovah, thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: As touching the words which thou hast heard,

Say this to the king of Judah, who sent you to seek an oracle from the LORD:“ This is what the LORD God of Israel says concerning the words you have heard:

But to the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of Yahweh, tell him,“ Yahweh the God of Israel says,‘ Concerning the words which you have heard,

Those who had respect for the Lord talked with one another. And the Lord heard them. A list of people and what they did was written in a book in front of him. It included the names of those who respected the Lord and honored him.“ The day is coming when I will judge,” says the Lord who rules over all.“ On that day they will be my special treasure. I will spare them just as a father loves and spares his son who serves him.

Tell those who do what is right that things will go well with them. They will enjoy the results of the good things they’ve done.

The king of Judah sent you to ask for advice. Tell him,‘ The Lord is the God of Israel. He has a message for you about the things you heard.The Lord says,“ Your heart was tender. You made yourself humble in my sight. You heard what I spoke against this place and its people. So you made yourself humble. You tore your royal robes and wept. And I have heard you,” announces the Lord.You will join the members of your family who have already died. You will be buried in peace. You will not see all the trouble I am going to bring. I am going to bring trouble on this place and the people who live here.’ ” Huldah’s answer was taken back to the king.
