Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Akbor, Shaphan and Asaiah went to speak to the prophet Huldah, who was the wife of Shallum son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe. She lived in Jerusalem, in the New Quarter.

Hilkiah the priest went to speak to Huldah the prophet. So did Ahikam, Akbor, Shaphan and Asaiah. Huldah was the wife of Shallum. Shallum was the son of Tikvah. Tikvah was the son of Harhas. Shallum took care of the sacred robes. Huldah lived in the New Quarter of Jerusalem.

So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asaiah went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe( now she lived in Jerusalem in the Second Quarter), and they talked with her.

So the priest Hilkiah, Ahikam, Achbor, Shaphan, and Asaiah went to the prophetess Huldah, wife of Shallum son of Tikvah, son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe. She lived in Jerusalem in the Second District. They spoke with her.

腓利有四個未出嫁的女兒，都能說預言。

民眾捐出一百七十公斤金子、一千一百公斤銀子和六十七件祭司禮服。

伊莉莎白一聽見瑪麗亞的問安，腹中的胎兒便跳動起來，伊莉莎白被聖靈充滿，高聲喊著說：「在婦女中你是最蒙福的！你腹中的孩子也是蒙福的！我主的母親來探望我，我怎麼敢當呢？我一聽到你問安的聲音，腹中的孩子就歡喜跳動。相信主所說的話必實現的女子有福了！」瑪麗亞說：「我的心尊主為大，我的靈因我的救主上帝而歡喜，因祂眷顧我這卑微的婢女，從今以後，世世代代都要稱我是有福的。全能者在我身上行了奇事，祂的名是神聖的。祂憐憫敬畏祂的人，直到世世代代。祂伸出臂膀，施展大能，驅散心驕氣傲的人。祂使當權者失勢，叫謙卑的人升高。祂使饑餓的得飽足，叫富足的空手而去。祂扶助了自己的僕人以色列，祂要施憐憫給亞伯拉罕和他的子孫，直到永遠，正如祂對我們祖先的應許。」瑪麗亞和伊莉莎白同住了約三個月，便回家去了。

亞設支派中有一位八十四歲高齡的女先知名叫亞拿，是法內利的女兒，婚後七年便開始守寡，之後一直住在聖殿裡，禁食禱告，日夜事奉上帝。

亞倫的姐姐米利暗是個先知，她手拿小鼓，帶領婦女擊鼓跳舞，

但婦女在禱告和講道時，若不蒙著頭，就是羞辱自己的頭，因為她就像剃光了頭髮一樣。

當時做士師的是一位名叫底波拉的女先知，她是拉比多的妻子，

我曾帶領你們離開埃及，把你們從受奴役之地救贖出來，又差遣摩西、亞倫和米利暗引領你們。

耶戶吩咐掌管禮服的人拿出禮服給他們穿上，

到那日，魚門必傳出哭喊聲，新區必響起哀號聲，山陵必發出崩裂的巨響。這是耶和華說的。
