是夜主顯現於所羅門、諭之曰、我聞爾之祈禱、特選此殿為祭我之所、

以可惡之物、置於為我名而建之殿、或作以可惡之物置於我殿籲我名之所使殿污穢、

今我已選此殿、使之成聖、使我名永在其中、我目我心亦恆在其中、

主曰、我將自我前除猶大、如我曾除以色列然、昔我選此邑耶路撒冷與此殿宇、曰、我名必在其中、今則棄之、

如主之民奉主所遣、無論何往、與敵戰時、向主所選之邑、及我為主名所建之殿、禱告於主、

主昔日所選之會眾、所贖為主民之支派、所居之郇山、求主記念、

爾為主爾之天主建祭臺、毋於祭臺側植木以為亞舍拉、或作毋於祭臺側樹木偶

則我將於所賜之地、翦滅以色列人、必擯棄為我名所區別為聖之殿、使以色列人為萬民作歌譏刺、

又在天主殿、置所作雕刻之偶像、論此殿、昔天主諭大衛及其子所羅門曰、此殿及耶路撒冷、我於以色列諸支派中所選者、我必使我名永在其中、

但選猶大支派、選所悅之郇山、營建聖殿、崇高如天、如永久奠定之地、

則我必拔斯民之根株、驅於我所賜之之地、且擯棄我為我名所區別為聖之殿、使萬民作歌譏刺、

因主選擇郇城、樂為駐蹕之所、曰、此乃我永居之處、我所喜愛者、我必居於此間、

去異邦之神、自主殿中除偶像、在主殿之山上、及耶路撒冷所建之祭壇、盡除之、投於城外、
