He sacrificed his own son in the fire, practiced divination, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the Lord, arousing his anger.

And he burned his son as an offering and used fortune-telling and omens and dealt with mediums and with necromancers. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking him to anger.

不可使你的儿女经火归与摩洛，也不可亵渎你神的名。我是耶和华。

又使他们的儿女经火，用占卜，行法术卖了自己，行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹动他的怒气。

“不可偏向那些交鬼的和行巫术的；不可求问他们，以致被他们玷污了。我是耶和华你们的神。

“你们不可吃带血的物；不可用法术，也不可观兆。

却效法以色列诸王所行的，又照着耶和华从以色列人面前赶出的外邦人所行可憎的事，使他的儿子经火，

你们中间不可有人使儿女经火，也不可有占卜的、观兆的、用法术的、行邪术的、用迷术的、交鬼的、行巫术的、过阴的。凡行这些事的都为耶和华所憎恶；因那些国民行这可憎恶的事，所以耶和华你的神将他们从你面前赶出。你要在耶和华你的神面前作完全人。”“因你所要赶出的那些国民都听信观兆的和占卜的，至于你，耶和华你的神从来不许你这样行。

并且在欣嫩子谷烧香，用火焚烧他的儿女，行耶和华在以色列人面前所驱逐的外邦人那可憎的事；

耶和华岂喜悦千千的公羊，或是万万的油河吗？我岂可为自己的罪过献我的长子吗？为心中的罪恶献我身所生的吗？

“你还要晓谕以色列人说：凡以色列人，或是在以色列中寄居的外人，把自己的儿女献给摩洛的，总要治死他；本地人要用石头把他打死。我也要向那人变脸，把他从民中剪除；因为他把儿女献给摩洛，玷污我的圣所，亵渎我的圣名。

埃及人的心神必在里面耗尽；我必败坏他们的谋略。他们必求问偶像和念咒的、交鬼的、行巫术的。

所多玛人在耶和华面前罪大恶极。

这样，扫罗死了。因为他干犯耶和华，没有遵守耶和华的命；又因他求问交鬼的妇人，

并在欣嫩子谷使他的儿女经火，又观兆，用法术，行邪术，立交鬼的和行巫术的，多行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹动他的怒气，

这祸临到犹大人，诚然是耶和华所命的，要将他们从自己面前赶出，是因玛拿西所犯的一切罪；又因他流无辜人的血，充满了耶路撒冷；耶和华决不肯赦免。

有人对你们说：“当求问那些交鬼的和行巫术的，就是声音绵蛮，言语微细的。”你们便回答说：“百姓不当求问自己的神吗？岂可为活人求问死人呢？”

后来，我们往那祷告的地方去。有一个使女迎着面来，她被巫鬼所附，用法术，叫她主人们大得财利。
