在主之殿宇建數祭壇、昔主曰、我必使我名永在耶路撒冷、所言即指此殿宇、瑪拿西在主殿之二院、為天之萬象建壇、

He built altars in the temple of the Lord, of which the Lord had said,“ In Jerusalem I will put my Name.”

He built altars in the Lord’ s temple. The Lord had said about his temple,“ I will put my Name there in Jerusalem.”

And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said,“ In Jerusalem will I put my name.”

He built pagan altars in the Temple of the Lord, the place where the Lord had said,“ My name will remain in Jerusalem forever.”

He built altars in the LORD’s temple, where the LORD had said,“ Jerusalem is where I will put my name.”

And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said,“ In Jerusalem I will put My name.”

竟把他们可憎的偶像安放在称为我名下的殿中，污秽了这殿。

亚哈斯王到大马士革会见亚述王提革拉．毗列色，看见在大马士革的祭坛。亚哈斯王就派人把祭坛的图样、结构和详尽的做法送到乌利亚祭司那里。于是乌利亚祭司按着亚哈斯王从大马士革送回来的一切指示建造祭坛。在亚哈斯王从大马士革回来以前，乌利亚祭司就照样做了。王从大马士革回来，看见了那祭坛，于是王走到祭坛旁边，登上台阶，烧他的燔祭和素祭，又浇上他的奠祭，并且把他的平安祭牲的血洒在祭坛上。至于耶和华面前的铜祭坛，他把它从殿前，从新坛与耶和华殿中间移至新坛的北边。亚哈斯王吩咐乌利亚祭司说：“要在这大祭坛上焚烧早晨的燔祭、黄昏的素祭、王的燔祭牲和素祭、所有国民的燔祭和素祭；也要在坛上浇上他们的奠祭，以及所有燔祭牲和平安祭牲的血。至于铜祭坛，我要用来求问神。”乌利亚祭司就照着亚哈斯王一切所吩咐的去行。

耶和华对他说：“你在我面前所作的祷告和恳求，我都已经听见了。你建造的这殿，我已经把它分别为圣，要使我的名永远留在那里；我的眼和我的心也必常在那里。

耶和华你们的神从你们各支派中，选择了什么地方作立他名的居所，你们就当到那里求问他；

却拣选了犹大支派，他所爱的锡安山。他建造了自己的圣所好像在高天之上，又像他所建立永存的大地。

你要为我筑一座土坛，把你的燔祭、平安祭和牛羊献在坛上；在我使人记念我名的地方，我都必到你那里去赐福你。

因为耶和华拣选了锡安，定意把它当作自己的居所。他说：“这是我永远安息的居所；我要住在这里，因为我定意这样作。
