爾當復入、告我之民長希西家、爾祖大闢之上帝耶和華云、我見爾祈禱出涕、將愈爾疾、越三日可詣我殿。

爾返告我民之君希西家曰、主爾祖大衛之天主如是云、我已聞爾禱、已見爾淚、必愈爾病、至第三日、必得上我殿、

“ Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people,‘ This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord.

“ Go back to Hezekiah, the leader of my people. Tell him,‘ This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you, and three days from now you will get out of bed and go to the Temple of the Lord.

“ Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people,‘ This is what the Lord, the God of your father David says:“ I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I am going to heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.

“ Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people,‘ Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father:“ I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.

Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the prince of my people, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee; on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of Jehovah.

“ Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of My people,‘ This is what the Lord God of your ancestor David says: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Look, I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the Lord’s temple.

Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

“ Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people:‘ This is what the LORD God of your ancestor David says:“ I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Look, I will heal you. The day after tomorrow you will go up to the LORD’s temple.

“ Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people,‘ Yahweh, the God of David your father, says,“ I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to Yahweh’s house.

“ Hear my prayer, LORD, and listen to my cry for help; do not be silent at my tears. For I am here with you as an alien, a temporary resident like all my ancestors.

Then Isaiah son of Amoz sent a message to Hezekiah:“ The LORD, the God of Israel says,‘ I have heard your prayer to me about King Sennacherib of Assyria.’

However, God has listened; he has paid attention to the sound of my prayer.Blessed be God! He has not turned away my prayer or turned his faithful love from me.

“ At this time tomorrow I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin. Anoint him ruler over my people Israel. He will save them from the Philistines because I have seen the affliction of my people, for their cry has come to me.”

Samuel took the flask of oil, poured it out on Saul’s head, kissed him, and said,“ Hasn’t the LORD anointed you ruler over his inheritance?

Pay attention and come to me; listen, so that you will live. I will make a permanent covenant with you on the basis of the faithful kindnesses of David.

A person may be disciplined on his bed with pain and constant distress in his bones,so that he detests bread, and his soul despises his favorite food.His flesh wastes away to nothing, and his unseen bones stick out.He draws near to the Pit, and his life to the executioners.If there is an angel on his side, one mediator out of a thousand, to tell a person what is right for himand to be gracious to him and say,“ Spare him from going down to the Pit; I have found a ransom,”then his flesh will be healthier than in his youth, and he will return to the days of his youthful vigor.He will pray to God, and God will delight in him. That person will see his face with a shout of joy, and God will restore his righteousness to him.

After this, Jesus found him in the temple and said to him,“ See, you are well. Do not sin anymore, so that something worse doesn’t happen to you.”

How can I repay the LORD for all the good he has done for me?I will take the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD.I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.

For in bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was entirely appropriate that God— for whom and through whom all things exist— should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

“ Go and tell Hezekiah,‘ This is what the LORD God of your ancestor David says: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Look, I am going to add fifteen years to your life.

In the eighth year of his reign, while he was still a youth, Josiah began to seek the God of his ancestor David, and in the twelfth year he began to cleanse Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, the Asherah poles, the carved images, and the cast images.

I will enter your house with burnt offerings; I will pay you my vowsthat my lips promised and my mouth spoke during my distress.I will offer you fattened sheep as burnt offerings, with the fragrant smoke of rams; I will sacrifice bulls with goats. Selah

Even while Saul was king over us, you were the one who led us out to battle and brought us back. The LORD also said to you,‘ You will shepherd my people Israel, and you will be ruler over Israel.’”

Look, God and his priests are with us at our head. The trumpets are ready to sound the charge against you. Israelites, don’t fight against the LORD God of your ancestors, for you will not succeed.”
