Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying,

Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord,

Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall. He prayed to the Lord. He said,

And may You hear the supplication of Your servant and of Your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Hear in heaven Your dwelling place; and when You hear, forgive.

Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord,and said,“ Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
