Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall. He prayed to the Lord. He said,

Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord,

Hear me when I ask you to help us. Listen to your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Listen to us from heaven. It’s the place where you live. When you hear us, forgive us.

Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall. He prayed to the Lord. He said,“ Lord, please remember how faithful I’ve been to you. I’ve lived the way you wanted me to. I’ve served you with all my heart. I’ve done what is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

When you pray, go into your room. Close the door and pray to your Father, who can’t be seen. Your Father will reward you, because he sees what you do secretly.
