Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’”

Then he went out to the spring. He threw the salt into it. He told the people,“ The Lord says,‘ I have made this water pure. It will never cause death again. It will never keep the land from producing crops again.’ ”

Then he went to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ Thus says the Lord, I have healed this water; from now on neither death nor miscarriage shall come from it.”

Then he went out to the spring that supplied the town with water and threw the salt into it. And he said,“ This is what the Lord says: I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or infertility.”

Elisha went out to the spring, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

Then he went out to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have purified these waters; there shall not come from there death or unfruitfulness any longer.’ ”

Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast salt therein, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or miscarrying.

Elisha went out to the spring of water, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren[ land].

He went out to the spring and threw the salt in. Then he said,“ This is what the LORD says,‘ I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or fail to produce crops.”

城衢之中、及河之左右、植有生命樹、結果十二種、每月結一種、每月結一種或作每月結其果其樹之葉、乃為醫治異邦人、邑中不再有被詛者、天主及羔之寶座在彼、其僕必事之、

鹽善矣、若鹽失其鹹、何以復之、爾曹內宜有鹽、亦當彼此相和、

言竟、唾於地、以唾和泥、塗瞽者之目、

因十字架之道、在彼淪亡者視為愚、惟在我儕得救者、則視為天主之大能、經載云、我將滅智者之智、廢慧者之慧、智者安在、經士安在、斯世之辯士安在、天主豈非使斯世之智為愚乎、世既以智不識天主、則天主喜以宣道之愚、救諸信者、此乃天主之智也、猶太人索異跡、希拉人求智慧、惟我儕宣釘十字架之基督、猶太人視為礙、礙或作可厭希拉人視為愚、惟蒙召者、無論猶太人、希拉人、皆以基督為天主之大能、天主之智慧、蓋天主之道、人所視為愚者、亦智於人、天主之道、人所視為弱者、亦強於人、兄弟乎、觀爾蒙召者、以世俗而論、智者不多、能者不多、貴者不多、乃天主選世之愚者、以愧智者、選世之弱者、以愧強者、天主又選世之卑賤者、被藐視者、人所視為無有者、以廢世之有者、

其人告我曰、此水流往東境、下至曠野、曠野或作亞拉巴入鹽海、水自殿出、一入鹽海、水即變甘、河流所至、一切動物、俱必得生、且有魚甚眾、其水所至、水即變甘、河流所至、百物必生、必有漁人、漁於其濱、自隱基底至隱以革蓮、為張網之處、所得之魚、凡類俱備、其魚甚眾、如漁之於大海中、其魚甚眾如漁之於大海中或作如大海之魚甚眾惟其濱下、淤泥諸澤、仍鹵不變、仍鹵不變或作水不變甘留為出鹽之所、

主使江河之地、變為沙漠、泉源之處、變為旱地、主因居民之罪惡、使膏腴之地、變為鹵地、又使沙漠有水澤、使旱地出泉源、使饑餓之人居於其間、建立可居之城邑、耕種田地、栽植葡萄園、得享果實、得享五榖、主降之福祉、使之人丁甚多、牲畜繁盛、
