Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’”

Then he went out to the spring. He threw the salt into it. He told the people,“ The Lord says,‘ I have made this water pure. It will never cause death again. It will never keep the land from producing crops again.’ ”

Then he went to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ Thus says the Lord, I have healed this water; from now on neither death nor miscarriage shall come from it.”

Then he went out to the spring that supplied the town with water and threw the salt into it. And he said,“ This is what the Lord says: I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or infertility.”

Elisha went out to the spring, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

Then he went out to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have purified these waters; there shall not come from there death or unfruitfulness any longer.’ ”

Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast salt therein, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or miscarrying.

Elisha went out to the spring of water, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren[ land].

摩西呼求耶和華，耶和華指示他一棵樹。他把樹丟在水裏，水就變甜了。耶和華在那裏為他們定了律例、典章，在那裏試驗他們；又說：「你若留意聽耶和華－你神的話，又行我眼中看為正的事，留心聽我的誡命，守我一切的律例，我就不將所加與埃及人的疾病加在你身上，因為我－耶和華是醫治你的。」

以利沙說：「拿點麵來」，就把麵撒在鍋中，說：「倒出來，給眾人吃吧！」鍋中就沒有毒了。

神人問說：「掉在哪裏了？」他將那地方指給以利沙看。以利沙砍了一根木頭，拋在水裏，斧頭就漂上來了。

凡獻為素祭的供物都要用鹽調和，在素祭上不可缺了你神立約的鹽。一切的供物都要配鹽而獻。

在河這邊與那邊有生命樹，結十二樣果子，每月都結果子；樹上的葉子乃為醫治萬民。以後再沒有咒詛；在城裏有神和羔羊的寶座；他的僕人都要事奉他，

鹽本是好的，若失了味，可用甚麼叫它再鹹呢？你們裏頭應當有鹽，彼此和睦。」

耶穌說了這話，就吐唾沫在地上，用唾沫和泥抹在瞎子的眼睛上，

因為十字架的道理，在那滅亡的人為愚拙；在我們得救的人，卻為神的大能。就如經上所記：我要滅絕智慧人的智慧，廢棄聰明人的聰明。智慧人在哪裏？文士在哪裏？這世上的辯士在哪裏？神豈不是叫這世上的智慧變成愚拙嗎？世人憑自己的智慧，既不認識神，神就樂意用人所當作愚拙的道理拯救那些信的人；這就是神的智慧了。猶太人是要神蹟，希臘人是求智慧，我們卻是傳釘十字架的基督，在猶太人為絆腳石，在外邦人為愚拙；但在那蒙召的，無論是猶太人、希臘人，基督總為神的能力，神的智慧。因神的愚拙總比人智慧，神的軟弱總比人強壯。弟兄們哪，可見你們蒙召的，按着肉體有智慧的不多，有能力的不多，有尊貴的也不多。神卻揀選了世上愚拙的，叫有智慧的羞愧；又揀選了世上軟弱的，叫那強壯的羞愧。神也揀選了世上卑賤的，被人厭惡的，以及那無有的，為要廢掉那有的，

他對我說：「這水往東方流去，必下到亞拉巴，直到海。所發出來的水必流入鹽海，使水變甜。這河水所到之處，凡滋生的動物都必生活，並且因這流來的水必有極多的魚，海水也變甜了。這河水所到之處，百物都必生活。必有漁夫站在河邊，從隱‧基底直到隱‧以革蓮，都作曬網之處。那魚各從其類，好像大海的魚甚多。只是泥濘之地與窪濕之處不得治好，必為鹽地。

「人若因我辱罵你們，逼迫你們，捏造各樣壞話毀謗你們，你們就有福了！

神要擦去他們一切的眼淚；不再有死亡，也不再有悲哀、哭號、疼痛，因為以前的事都過去了。」

他使江河變為曠野，叫水泉變為乾渴之地，使肥地變為鹼地；這都因其間居民的罪惡。他使曠野變為水潭，叫旱地變為水泉。他使飢餓的人住在那裏，好建造可住的城邑，又種田地，栽葡萄園，得享所出的土產。他又賜福給他們，叫他們生養眾多，也不叫他們的牲畜減少。
