Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’”

Then he went out to the spring. He threw the salt into it. He told the people,“ The Lord says,‘ I have made this water pure. It will never cause death again. It will never keep the land from producing crops again.’ ”

Then he went to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ Thus says the Lord, I have healed this water; from now on neither death nor miscarriage shall come from it.”

Then he went out to the spring that supplied the town with water and threw the salt into it. And he said,“ This is what the Lord says: I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or infertility.”

Elisha went out to the spring, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

Then he went out to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have purified these waters; there shall not come from there death or unfruitfulness any longer.’ ”

Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast salt therein, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or miscarrying.

Elisha went out to the spring of water, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren[ land].

摩西向耶和华呼叫，耶和华就向他指示一棵树；他把树丢进水里，水就变甜了。耶和华在那里为他们立了律例和典章，也在那里试验了他们。耶和华又说：“如果你留意听耶和华你神的声音，行他眼中看为正的事，侧耳听他的诫命，遵守他的一切律例；这样，我决不把加在埃及人身上的一切疾病加在你们身上，因为我是医治你的耶和华。”

他说：“拿些面给我。”他把面放在锅中，说：“倒出来给众人吃吧。”锅里就没有毒了。

神人说：“掉在哪里呢？”于是他把那地点指给他看。他砍了一根木头，丢在那里，那斧头就浮上来了。

你献作素祭的一切供物，都要用盐调和；在你的素祭上，不可缺少你神立约的盐；你的一切供物，都要用盐调和献上。

经过城里的街道。河的两边有生命树，结十二次果子，每月都结果子；树叶可以医治列国。所有咒诅都不再有了。城里有神和羊羔的宝座，他的仆人都要事奉他，

盐是好的，但如果失了味，可以用什么使它再咸呢？你们自己里面应当有盐，彼此和睦。”

说了这话，就吐唾沫在地上，用唾沫和了一点泥，把泥抹在瞎子的眼睛上，

因为十字架的道理，对走向灭亡的人来说是愚笨的，但对我们这些得救的人，却是神的大能。因为经上记着说：“我要灭绝智慧人的智慧，废弃聪明人的聪明。”智慧人在哪里？经学家在哪里？今世的辩士在哪里？神不是使属世的智慧变成了愚笨吗？因为在神的智慧里，世人凭自己的智慧，既然不能认识神，神就乐意藉着所传的愚笨的道理，去拯救那些信的人。犹太人要求神迹，希腊人寻找智慧，我们却传扬钉十字架的基督；在犹太人看来是绊脚石，在外族人看来是愚笨的，但对那些蒙召的人，不论是犹太人或希腊人，基督是神的能力，神的智慧。因为神的愚笨总比人智慧，神的软弱总比人刚强。弟兄们，你们想想，你们这些蒙召的，按人（“人”或译：“世上的标准”、“世界的标准”）来看有智慧的不多，有权势的不多，出身尊贵的也不多。但是神却拣选了世上愚笨的，使那些有智慧的羞愧。他也拣选了世上软弱的，使那些刚强的羞愧。他也拣选了世上卑贱的和被人轻视的，以及算不得什么的，为了要废弃那些自以为是的，

他又对我说：“这水要向东方的地区流出去，下到亚拉巴，流入死海。这水流入死海，就使海里的水变淡（“变淡”原文作“得医治”）。那时，这河流过的地方，所有滋生的动物都可以存活。这水流到哪里，哪里就有许多鱼；因为这河流到哪里，海水就变淡，一切都可以存活。必有渔夫站在河边，从隐．基底直到隐．以革莲，都是晒网的地方。各类的鱼都像大海里的鱼那样多。只有沼泽和洼地的水不能变淡，留作产盐之用。

人若因我的缘故辱骂你们，迫害你们，并且捏造各样坏话毁谤你们，你们就有福了。

他要抹去他们的一切眼泪，不再有死亡，也不再有悲哀、哭号、痛苦，因为先前的事都过去了。”

他使江河变为旷野，使水泉变为干旱无水之地。他使肥沃的土地变为咸田，都因住在那里的居民的邪恶。他使旷野变为池塘，使旱地变为水泉。他使饥饿的人住在那里，好让他们建造可以居住的城巿。他们耕种田地，栽种葡萄园，得到丰盛的收成。他又赐福给他们，使他们人口众多，也没有使他们的牲畜减少。
