以利亞對以利沙說：『永恆主差遣我就到伯特利那裏；你請在這裏等候着。』以利沙說：『我指着永活的永恆主、也指着你自己的性命、來起誓，我一定不離開你。』二人就下到伯特利。

以利亚对以利沙说：“耶和华差我往伯特利去，你可以在这里等候。”以利沙说：“我指着永生的耶和华，又敢在你面前起誓，我必不离开你。”于是二人下到伯特利。

以利亚对以利沙说：“耶和华差遣我往伯特利去，你可以留在这里。”以利沙说：“我指着永生的耶和华，又指着你的性命起誓，我必不离开你。”于是二人下到伯特利。

以利亚对以利沙说：“你留在这里吧，耶和华吩咐我去伯特利。”以利沙说：“我凭永活的耶和华和你的性命起誓，我决不离开你。”于是二人前往伯特利。

以利亚对以利沙说：“你留在这里吧，因为耶和华差派我到伯特利去。”以利沙说：“我指着永活的耶和华和你的性命起誓：我必不离开你。”于是他们下到伯特利去。

以利亞謂以利沙曰、耶和華遣我至伯特利、請爾待此、以利沙曰、我指維生之耶和華、及爾生命而誓、我不離爾、於是二人下伯特利、

以利亞告以利沙曰、耶和華使我往伯特利、汝可待此。以利沙曰、我指耶和華而誓、亦指爾生命以誓、我不離爾。乃偕往伯特利。

以利亞謂以利沙曰、主遣我往伯特利、爾且待此、以利沙曰、我指永生主而誓、亦指爾之生命而誓、我不離爾、於是二人下伯特利、

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here. The Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ I won’t leave you. And that’s just as sure as the Lord and you are alive.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Please stay here, for the Lord has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you!” So they went down together to Bethel.

and Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the LORD is sending me on to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here please, for the Lord has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Then Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me as far as Beth- el. And Elisha said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Beth- el.

and Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the Lord is sending me on to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said[ unto him, As] the LORD liveth, and[ as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah told Elisha,“ Stay here, for the LORD has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Please wait here, for Yahweh has sent me as far as Bethel.” Elisha said,“ As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

以利亞對以利沙說：『永恆主差遣我到約但河去；你請在這裏等候着。』以利沙說：『我指着永活的永恆主、也指着你自己的性命、來起誓，我一定不離開你。』二人仍往前行。

孩子的母親說：『我指着永活的永恆主、也指着你的性命、來起誓，我一定不離開你。』以利沙就起身，跟着她去。

婦人說：『哦，我主啊，我敢指着我主的性命來起誓，從前在這裏站在你旁邊、向永恆主祈禱的那婦人就是我。

以利亞對以利沙說：『以利沙，永恆主差遣我到耶利哥去；你請在這裏等候着。』以利沙說：『我指着永活的永恆主、也指着你自己的性命、來起誓，我一定不離開你。』二人就到耶利哥去。

我主啊，永恆主既阻止了你犯到流人血的罪，阻止了你親手為自己復仇，如今我指着永活的永恆主、也指着與你活着的性命、來起誓：如今我願你的仇敵和謀害你的人、都像拿八一樣。

又指着永活的永恆主來起誓，憑忠誠公平公義來起誓，那麼列國就必靠着永恆主而給自己祝福，也必因着他而誇耀了。』

就給那地方起名叫伯特利；那城的名字原來叫做路斯。

拿俄米說：『看哪，你嫂子已經回她族人和她所拜的神那裏去了；你也跟着你嫂子回去吧。』路得說：『不要催我離開你而回去、不跟着你；你往哪裏去，我也往哪裏去；你在哪裏住宿，我也在哪裏住宿；你的族人就是我的族人；你的上帝就是我的上帝；你在哪裏死，我也在哪裏死，也埋葬在哪裏；除了死以外，若有甚麼使你我相分離，願永恆主這樣懲罰我，並且加倍地懲罰。』拿俄米見路得堅決要跟自己去，就停止不對她說甚麼了。

他就把牛犢一隻立在伯特利，一隻安在但。

八月十五日、他心裏自定的月日、他自己上去，在他所造於伯特利的祭壇旁獻祭；他為以色列人定了節期，自己上去、在祭壇旁燻祭。那時有一個神人憑着永恆主的話從猶大來到伯特利；耶羅波安正站在祭壇旁要燻祭；神人憑着永恆主的話攻擊那祭壇而喊叫、說：『壇哪，壇哪，永恆主這麼說：「大衛王室必生個兒子、名叫約西亞；他必將邱壇的祭司、就是在你上面燻祭的、宰殺在你上面；人必將人的骨頭燒在你上面。」』

王對迦特人乙太說：『你、你是外族人，而且你也是從你本地流亡而來的，為甚麼你也和我們一同來呢？你回去、和新王同住吧。近日你才來呢，今日我怎好叫你和我們一同去流離呢？而我又是要去哪兒就去哪兒的！你回去吧；領你的弟兄們和你一同回去吧；願永恆主以堅愛和忠信待你。』乙太回答王說：『我指着永活的永恆主來起誓，也指着我主我王的性命來起誓，無論我主我王在甚麼地方，或死或活，僕人總要在那裏的。』

於是耶穌就對那十二個人說：『難道你們也想要去麼？』西門彼得回答他說：『主啊，我們要去歸誰呢？你有永生之話語啊！

掃羅看見大衛出陣去和那非利士人接戰，就問軍長押尼珥說：『押尼珥啊，這個青年人是誰的兒子？』押尼珥說：『王啊，我指着你的性命來起誓，我若知道，我就該死。』

他們從我們中間出去，卻又不曾屬於我們；如果曾屬於我們，他們就會繼續同我們在一起了；可是他們出去了，這是要顯明他們不是都屬於我們。
