以利亚对以利沙说：“耶和华差我往伯特利去，你可以在这里等候。”以利沙说：“我指着永生的耶和华，又敢在你面前起誓，我必不离开你。”于是二人下到伯特利。

以利亞對以利沙說：『永恆主差遣我就到伯特利那裏；你請在這裏等候着。』以利沙說：『我指着永活的永恆主、也指着你自己的性命、來起誓，我一定不離開你。』二人就下到伯特利。

以利亞謂以利沙曰、耶和華遣我至伯特利、請爾待此、以利沙曰、我指維生之耶和華、及爾生命而誓、我不離爾、於是二人下伯特利、

以利亞告以利沙曰、耶和華使我往伯特利、汝可待此。以利沙曰、我指耶和華而誓、亦指爾生命以誓、我不離爾。乃偕往伯特利。

以利亞謂以利沙曰、主遣我往伯特利、爾且待此、以利沙曰、我指永生主而誓、亦指爾之生命而誓、我不離爾、於是二人下伯特利、

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here. The Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ I won’t leave you. And that’s just as sure as the Lord and you are alive.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Please stay here, for the Lord has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you!” So they went down together to Bethel.

and Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the LORD is sending me on to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here please, for the Lord has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Then Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me as far as Beth- el. And Elisha said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Beth- el.

and Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the Lord is sending me on to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said[ unto him, As] the LORD liveth, and[ as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah told Elisha,“ Stay here, for the LORD has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Please wait here, for Yahweh has sent me as far as Bethel.” Elisha said,“ As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

以利亚对以利沙说：“耶和华差遣我往约旦河去，你可以在这里等候。”以利沙说：“我指着永生的耶和华，又敢在你面前起誓，我必不离开你。”于是二人一同前往。

孩子的母亲说：“我指着永生的耶和华，又敢在你面前起誓，我必不离开你。”于是以利沙起身，随着她去了。

妇人说：“主啊，我敢在你面前起誓，从前在你这里站着祈求耶和华的那妇人，就是我。

以利亚对以利沙说：“耶和华差遣我往耶利哥去，你可以在这里等候。”以利沙说：“我指着永生的耶和华，又敢在你面前起誓，我必不离开你。”于是二人到了耶利哥。

我主啊，耶和华既然阻止你亲手报仇，取流血的罪，所以我指着永生的耶和华、又敢在你面前起誓说：‘愿你的仇敌和谋害你的人都像拿八一样。’

你必凭诚实、公平、公义，指着永生的耶和华起誓；列国必因耶和华称自己为有福，也必因他夸耀。”

他就给那地方起名叫伯特利；但那地方起先名叫路斯。

拿俄米说：“看哪，你嫂子已经回她本国和她所拜的神那里去了，你也跟着你嫂子回去吧！”路得说：“不要催我回去不跟随你。你往哪里去，我也往那里去；你在哪里住宿，我也在那里住宿；你的国就是我的国，你的神就是我的神。你在哪里死，我也在那里死，也葬在那里。除非死能使你我相离！不然，愿耶和华重重地降罚与我。”拿俄米见路得定意要跟随自己去，就不再劝她了。

他就把牛犊一只安在伯特利，一只安在但。

他在八月十五日，就是他私自所定的月日，为以色列人立作节期的日子，在伯特利上坛烧香。那时，有一个神人奉耶和华的命从犹大来到伯特利。耶罗波安正站在坛旁要烧香；神人奉耶和华的命向坛呼叫，说：“坛哪，坛哪！耶和华如此说：大卫家里必生一个儿子，名叫约西亚，他必将邱坛的祭司，就是在你上面烧香的，杀在你上面，人的骨头也必烧在你上面。”

王对迦特人以太说：“你是外邦逃来的人，为什么与我们同去呢？你可以回去与新王同住，或者回你本地去吧！你来的日子不多，我今日怎好叫你与我们一同飘流、没有一定的住处呢？你不如带你的弟兄回去吧！愿耶和华用慈爱诚实待你。”以太对王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓，又敢在王面前起誓：无论生死，王在哪里，仆人也必在那里。”

耶稣就对那十二个门徒说：“你们也要去吗？”西门彼得回答说：“主啊，你有永生之道，我们还归从谁呢？

扫罗看见大卫去攻击非利士人，就问元帅押尼珥说：“押尼珥啊，那少年人是谁的儿子？”押尼珥说：“我敢在王面前起誓，我不知道。”

他们从我们中间出去，却不是属我们的；若是属我们的，就必仍旧与我们同在；他们出去，显明都不是属我们的。
