And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me as far as Beth- el. And Elisha said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Beth- el.

以利亞謂以利沙曰、耶和華遣我至伯特利、請爾待此、以利沙曰、我指維生之耶和華、及爾生命而誓、我不離爾、於是二人下伯特利、

以利亞告以利沙曰、耶和華使我往伯特利、汝可待此。以利沙曰、我指耶和華而誓、亦指爾生命以誓、我不離爾。乃偕往伯特利。

以利亞謂以利沙曰、主遣我往伯特利、爾且待此、以利沙曰、我指永生主而誓、亦指爾之生命而誓、我不離爾、於是二人下伯特利、

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here. The Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ I won’t leave you. And that’s just as sure as the Lord and you are alive.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Please stay here, for the Lord has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you!” So they went down together to Bethel.

and Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the LORD is sending me on to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here please, for the Lord has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As surely as the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Then Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel.

and Elijah said to Elisha,“ Stay here; the Lord is sending me on to Bethel.” But Elisha replied,“ As the Lord lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah told Elisha,“ Stay here, for the LORD has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

Elijah said to Elisha,“ Please wait here, for Yahweh has sent me as far as Bethel.” Elisha said,“ As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

And Elijah said unto him, Tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me to the Jordan. And he said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on.

And the mother of the child said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

And she said, Oh, my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto Jehovah.

And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho.

Now therefore, my lord, as Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, seeing Jehovah hath withholden thee from bloodguiltiness, and from avenging thyself with thine own hand, now therefore let thine enemies, and them that seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal.

and thou shalt swear, As Jehovah liveth, in truth, in justice, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.

And he called the name of that place Beth- el: but the name of the city was Luz at the first.

And she said, Behold, thy sister- in- law is gone back unto her people, and unto her god: return thou after thy sister- in- law.And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, and to return from following after thee, for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge; thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God;where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: Jehovah do so to me, and more also, if aught but death part thee and me.And when she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, she left off speaking unto her.

And he set the one in Beth- el, and the other put he in Dan.

And he went up unto the altar which he had made in Beth- el on the fifteenth day in the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart: and he ordained a feast for the children of Israel, and went up unto the altar, to burn incense.And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of Jehovah unto Beth- el: and Jeroboam was standing by the altar to burn incense.And he cried against the altar by the word of Jehovah, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith Jehovah: Behold, a son shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he sacrifice the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall they burn upon thee.

Then said the king to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore goest thou also with us? return, and abide with the king: for thou art a foreigner, and also an exile; return to thine own place.Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us, seeing I go whither I may? return thou, and take back thy brethren; mercy and truth be with thee.And Ittai answered the king, and said, As Jehovah liveth, and as my lord the king liveth, surely in what place my lord the king shall be, whether for death or for life, even there also will thy servant be.

Jesus said therefore unto the twelve, Would ye also go away?Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

And when Saul saw David go forth against the Philistine, he said unto Abner, the captain of the host, Abner, whose son is this youth? And Abner said, As thy soul liveth, O king, I cannot tell.

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they all are not of us.
