那些在離不太遠的耶利哥神言人弟子們看見他，就說：『那感動以利亞的靈真地住在以利沙身上了。』他們就來迎接他，俯伏於地拜他。

住耶利哥的先知门徒从对面看见他，就说：“感动以利亚的灵感动以利沙了。”他们就来迎接他，在他面前俯伏于地，

The company of the prophets from Jericho, who were watching, said,“ The spirit of Elijah is resting on Elisha.” And they went to meet him and bowed to the ground before him.

The group of prophets from Jericho were watching. They said,“ The spirit of Elijah has been given to Elisha.” They went over to Elisha. They bowed down to him with their faces toward the ground.

Now when the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho saw him opposite them, they said,“ The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” And they came to meet him and bowed to the ground before him.

When the group of prophets from Jericho saw from a distance what happened, they exclaimed,“ Elijah’s spirit rests upon Elisha!” And they went to meet him and bowed to the ground before him.

When the sons of the prophets from Jericho who were observing saw him, they said,“ The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” They came to meet him and bowed down to the ground in front of him.

Now when the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho opposite him saw him, they said,“ The spirit of Elijah has settled on Elisha.” And they came to meet him and bowed down to the ground before him.

Now when the sons of the prophets who were from Jericho saw him, they said,“ The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” And they came to meet him, and bowed to the ground before him.

And when the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho over against him saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

When the sons of the prophets from Jericho who were facing him saw him, they said,“ The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” They came to meet him and bowed down to the ground in front of him.

And when the sons of the prophets which[ were] to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

When the members of the prophetic guild in Jericho, who were standing at a distance, saw him do this, they said,“ The spirit that energized Elijah rests upon Elisha.” They went to meet him and bowed down to the ground before him.

When the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho facing him saw him, they said,“ The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” They came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

但那幫助者、我從父那裏所要差來找你們的、真理之靈、從父而出的，那一位來的時候、就要為我作見證了。你們呢、也要作見證，因為從起初你們就同我在一起。

『至於我呢、永恆主說，以下這個就是我跟他們立的約：我的靈、那加於你身上的、我的話、那放在你口中的、必不離開你的口，不離開你後裔的口，也不離開你後裔之後裔的口，從今時直到永遠：這是永恆主說的。』

但聖靈一臨到你們，你們就必領受能力，不但要在耶路撒冷，也要在全猶太和撒瑪利亞、直到地極、給我作見證。』

神言人弟子們的妻子中間有一個人向以利沙哀求說：『你僕人我丈夫死了；你知道你僕人是敬畏永恆主的；現在有債主來，要取我的兩個孩子去做奴僕。』以利沙問她說：『我可以為你作甚麼？你告訴我；你家裏有甚麼？』她說：『婢女家中、除了一瓶油之外，甚麼也沒有。』以利沙說：『你去、向外面借器皿，向所有鄰居借空器皿；不要少借。然後進屋裏，把門關上，使你和你兒子在裏面，將油倒在所有那些器皿裏，倒滿了的放在一邊。』

婦人就來，就俯倒在以利沙腳前，下拜於地，將兒子抱起，就出來。

神言人弟子們之中有五十人也去；遠遠地站在他們對面；二人在約但河邊站着。

神言人弟子們對以利沙說：『看哪、我們在你講座之前所住的地方過於狹窄、不夠我們使用。請容我們去到約但河，各人從那裏取一根木料，在那裏造一座住所，可以在那裏居住。』以利沙說：『你們去吧。』有一個人說：『請你跟僕人一同去。』他回答說：『我要去。』於是以利沙跟他們一同去。他們到了約但河，就砍伐樹木。有一個人砍取木料的時候，斧頭掉在水裏，他就喊叫說：『哀啊，老師啊，這斧子是借的喲！』神人問說：『掉在哪裏呢？』他將那地點指給以利沙看，以利沙就砍了一根木頭，丟在那裏，叫斧頭浮上來。以利沙說：『你自己拿起來吧！』那人就伸手去拿。

你們若在基督名內受辱罵，是有福的；因為「榮耀」之靈、就是上帝之靈、住在你們身上。

永恆主的靈必住在他身上，就是智慧和明達之靈，謀略和能力之靈，認識和敬畏永恆主的靈。

永恆主對約書亞說：『今天我開始要使你在以色列眾人眼中成為尊大，叫他們知道我怎樣和摩西同在，也必怎樣和你同在。

你要將你的尊威給他幾分，好使以色列人全會眾都聽從他。

他對我說：『我的恩是夠你用的；因為能力是在軟弱上才顯得完全的。』所以我頂喜歡、寧可拿種種軟弱來誇口，好讓基督的能力來住在我身上。

永恆主在雲中降臨，對摩西說話，將在摩西身上的靈分與做長老的七十個人身上；當靈停在他們身上的時候，他們就受感動而發神言狂。以後卻沒有再發。當時留在營裏的還有兩個人；一個名叫伊利達，另一個名叫米達；靈也居然停在他們身上了。這兩個人本是在被記錄者之中，卻沒有出來到帳棚裏；他們就在營中受感動而發神言狂。有個青年人跑來告訴摩西說：『伊利達和米達在營中受感動而發神言狂呢。』摩西的幫手、嫩的兒子約書亞、摩西所揀選的一個人、應時地說：『我主摩西，請制止他。』摩西對他說：『你為了我的緣故而生妒愛熱情麼？但願永恆主使他的人民都做神言人啊！但願永恆主將他的靈賜在他們身上啊！』

那一天、永恆主使約書亞在以色列眾人眼中成為尊大；儘他一生的日子、人民都敬畏他、像敬畏摩西一樣。

耶利哥城的人對以利沙說：『您請看，這城坐落很好，正如我老師所看到的；不過水壞，以致此地不能生產。』
