以利沙看见，就呼叫说：“我父啊！我父啊！以色列的战车马兵啊！”以后不再见他了。于是以利沙把自己的衣服撕为两片。

Elisha saw this and cried out,“ My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two.

Elisha saw it and cried out to Elijah,“ My father! You are like a father to me! You, Elijah, are the true chariots and horsemen of Israel!” Elisha didn’t see Elijah anymore. Then Elisha took hold of his own garment and tore it in two.

And Elisha saw it and he cried,“ My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” And he saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.

Elisha saw it and cried out,“ My father! My father! I see the chariots and charioteers of Israel!” And as they disappeared from sight, Elisha tore his clothes in distress.

As Elisha watched, he kept crying out,“ My father, my father, the chariots and horsemen of Israel!” When he could see him no longer, he took hold of his own clothes, tore them in two,

And Elisha was watching it and he was crying out,“ My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” And he did not see Elijah again. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.

亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞就派人到希西加那裡，說：「以色列的神耶和華如此說：『有關亞述王西納基立的事，你既然向我祈求了，

除了從天上降下來的人子，沒有人升過天。

天使們離開他們往天上去了，牧人就彼此說：「來，我們到伯利恆去，看看這件已成就的事，就是主讓我們明白的事！」

原來我們在這帳篷裡的人，承受著壓力，甚至呻吟嘆息；不是因為想要脫下，而是想要穿上，好讓這會死的被生命所吞沒。

這樣，主耶穌對他們說完話以後，就被接到天上，坐在神的右邊。

他在祝福的時候離開他們，被接到天上去了。

所以經上說：他升上高天的時候，擄掠了俘虜，把各樣的恩惠賜給了人。

義人死亡，沒有人放在心上；忠誠的人被接去，沒有人理會。義人被接去脫離禍患，進入平安；行事坦誠的人安息在自己的躺臥處。

誰曾升上天，又降下來呢？誰把風聚攏在自己的手中呢？誰把眾水包在衣服裡呢？誰確立了所有地極呢？他的名字是什麼呢？他兒子的名字是什麼呢？你確實知道嗎？

希西加向耶和華禱告，說：

有些虔誠的人把司提反埋葬了，為他大大地悲傷。

說了這些話，耶穌就在他們的注視中被接升天，有一朵雲彩把他接去，他們就看不見他了。

實際上，我們就是在這帳篷裡呻吟嘆息，切切地想穿上我們那從天上而來的居所。

隨後，兩位先知聽見一個大聲音從天上傳來，對他們說：「上到這裡來！」他們就在雲中升到天上去了，他們的敵人也看見了。

因正直人的祝福，城就被高舉；因惡人的口，城就被傾覆。

將軍的主人亞述王派他來辱罵永生的神，或許耶和華你的神聽見了他的話，就會斥責所聽見的那些話。因此，求你為幸存的餘剩之民獻上禱告。』」

我就說：「智慧勝過武力」，但那個貧寒人的智慧被人輕視，他的話語也沒有人再聽從。聽智慧人安靜的言語，勝過聽管轄者在愚昧人中的喊叫。智慧勝過戰鬥的武器，但一個罪人能毀了許多好事。

智慧使智慧人比城中十個掌權者更有能力。

說：『保羅，不要怕！你必須站在凱撒面前。看哪，所有與你同船的人，神都賜給你了。』
