以利沙看见，就呼叫说：“我父啊！我父啊！以色列的战车马兵啊！”以后不再见他了。于是以利沙把自己的衣服撕为两片。

Elisha saw this and cried out,“ My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two.

Elisha saw it and cried out to Elijah,“ My father! You are like a father to me! You, Elijah, are the true chariots and horsemen of Israel!” Elisha didn’t see Elijah anymore. Then Elisha took hold of his own garment and tore it in two.

And Elisha saw it and he cried,“ My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” And he saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.

Elisha saw it and cried out,“ My father! My father! I see the chariots and charioteers of Israel!” And as they disappeared from sight, Elisha tore his clothes in distress.

As Elisha watched, he kept crying out,“ My father, my father, the chariots and horsemen of Israel!” When he could see him no longer, he took hold of his own clothes, tore them in two,

亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚就派人到希西加那里，说：“以色列的神耶和华如此说：‘有关亚述王西纳基立的事，你既然向我祈求了，

除了从天上降下来的人子，没有人升过天。

天使们离开他们往天上去了，牧人就彼此说：“来，我们到伯利恒去，看看这件已成就的事，就是主让我们明白的事！”

原来我们在这帐篷里的人，承受着压力，甚至呻吟叹息；不是因为想要脱下，而是想要穿上，好让这会死的被生命所吞没。

这样，主耶稣对他们说完话以后，就被接到天上，坐在神的右边。

他在祝福的时候离开他们，被接到天上去了。

所以经上说：他升上高天的时候，掳掠了俘虏，把各样的恩惠赐给了人。

义人死亡，没有人放在心上；忠诚的人被接去，没有人理会。义人被接去脱离祸患，进入平安；行事坦诚的人安息在自己的躺卧处。

谁曾升上天，又降下来呢？谁把风聚拢在自己的手中呢？谁把众水包在衣服里呢？谁确立了所有地极呢？他的名字是什么呢？他儿子的名字是什么呢？你确实知道吗？

希西加向耶和华祷告，说：

有些虔诚的人把司提反埋葬了，为他大大地悲伤。

说了这些话，耶稣就在他们的注视中被接升天，有一朵云彩把他接去，他们就看不见他了。

实际上，我们就是在这帐篷里呻吟叹息，切切地想穿上我们那从天上而来的居所。

随后，两位先知听见一个大声音从天上传来，对他们说：“上到这里来！”他们就在云中升到天上去了，他们的敌人也看见了。

因正直人的祝福，城就被高举；因恶人的口，城就被倾覆。

将军的主人亚述王派他来辱骂永生的神，或许耶和华你的神听见了他的话，就会斥责所听见的那些话。因此，求你为幸存的余剩之民献上祷告。’”

我就说：“智慧胜过武力”，但那个贫寒人的智慧被人轻视，他的话语也没有人再听从。听智慧人安静的言语，胜过听管辖者在愚昧人中的喊叫。智慧胜过战斗的武器，但一个罪人能毁了许多好事。

智慧使智慧人比城中十个掌权者更有能力。

说：‘保罗，不要怕！你必须站在凯撒面前。看哪，所有与你同船的人，神都赐给你了。’
