以利沙看見，就喊叫：“我父！我父！以色列的戰車馬兵啊！”跟著就不再看見他了。以利沙抓住自己的衣服，把它撕成兩片。

以利沙看见，就呼叫说：“我父啊！我父啊！以色列的战车马兵啊！”以后不再见他了。于是以利沙把自己的衣服撕为两片。

Elisha saw this and cried out,“ My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two.

Elisha saw it and cried out to Elijah,“ My father! You are like a father to me! You, Elijah, are the true chariots and horsemen of Israel!” Elisha didn’t see Elijah anymore. Then Elisha took hold of his own garment and tore it in two.

And Elisha saw it and he cried,“ My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” And he saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.

Elisha saw it and cried out,“ My father! My father! I see the chariots and charioteers of Israel!” And as they disappeared from sight, Elisha tore his clothes in distress.

As Elisha watched, he kept crying out,“ My father, my father, the chariots and horsemen of Israel!” When he could see him no longer, he took hold of his own clothes, tore them in two,

And Elisha was watching it and he was crying out,“ My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” And he did not see Elijah again. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.

While Elisha was watching, he was crying out,“ My father, my father! The chariot and horsemen of Israel!” Then he could no longer see him. He grabbed his clothes and tore them in two.

以利沙患了必死的病。以色列王約阿施下到他那裡，伏在他的臉上哭，說：“父啊，父啊！以色列的戰車和騎兵啊！”

亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞就派人去見希西家，說：“耶和華以色列的神這樣說：‘因為你向我禱告關於亞述王西拿基立的事，

除了那從天上降下來的人子（有些抄本作“除了那從天上降下來仍舊在天上的人子”），沒有人升過天。

眾天使離開他們升天去了，那些牧人彼此說：“我們往伯利恆去，看看主所指示我們已經成就的事。”

我們這些在帳棚裡面的人，勞苦歎息，是由於不願意脫去這個，卻願意穿上那個，使這必死的被生命吞滅。

主耶穌向門徒講完了話，就被接到天上，坐在神的右邊。

正在祝福的時候，他就離開他們，被接到天上去了。

所以他說：“他升上高天的時候，擄了許多俘虜，把賞賜給了人。”

義人死亡，沒有人放在心上；虔誠人去世，也沒有人明白；義人去世，是脫離了禍患。行事為人正直的，死後必得進入平安，在他們的墳墓裡享安息。

誰升上天，又降下來呢？誰收聚風在掌中呢？誰包水在衣服裡呢？誰立定地的四極呢？他的名字叫甚麼？他兒子的名字叫甚麼？你知道嗎？

希西家向耶和華禱告說：

於是約伯起來，撕裂外袍，剃了頭，俯伏在地上敬拜，說：“我赤身出於母胎，也必赤身歸去。賞賜的是耶和華，收回的也是耶和華；耶和華的名是應當稱頌的。”

有些虔誠的人安葬了司提反，為他大大悲痛一番。

說完了這話，他們還在看的時候，他被接上升，有一朵雲把他接去，就看不見他了。

我們現今在這帳棚裡面歎息，渴望遷到那天上的住處，好像換上新的衣服；

他們聽見從天上來的大聲音，對他們說：“上這裡來！”他們就駕著雲上了天，他們的仇敵也看見了。

因正直人的祝福，城的地位就提高；因惡人的口，城就傾覆。

也許耶和華你的神聽見拉伯沙基的話，就是他的主人亞述王派他來辱罵永活的神的話；耶和華你的神會因他所聽見的話斥責他；因此，求你為餘剩下來的人獻上禱告。’”

並非無辜的人，神尚且搭救他；他要因你手中的潔淨得救拔。”

於是我說：“智慧勝過武力”，但是那個窮人的智慧被藐視，他的話也沒有人聽從。聽智慧人安安靜靜說出來的話，勝過聽管理愚昧者的人的喊叫。智慧勝於戰鬥的武器，但一個罪人能破壞許多好事。

智慧使智慧人比城中十個官長更有能力。

‘保羅，不要怕。你必定可以站在凱撒面前；神已經把那些和你同船的人賜給你了。’
