曰、當出立於山岡、在於我前、斯時耶和華過焉。在其前有風、勢大而猛、裂山破石。耶和華不御風而至。風後地震、地震之際、耶和華亦不降臨。

耶和華諭約書亞曰、昔埃及人、凌辱爾曹、今我為汝洒恥、故名地曰吉甲、至今其名尚存。○

沐膏寧示子耶戶、為以色列王、沐膏亞伯米何拉人、沙法子以利沙、代爾為先知。至於後日、避哈泄者、耶戶殺之、避耶戶者、以利沙殺之。在以色列族中、我遺七千人、身未嘗曲跽巴力、手未嘗接吻以為禮。以利亞遂往、遇沙法子以利沙耕田、牛十有二耦、最後者以利沙自御、以利亞過時、以其衣蔽之、以利沙棄牛、趨於以利亞後、曰、容我與父母接吻、而後相從。曰、歸哉、但憶我與爾所為。遂歸、取雙牛宰之、以耕器烹其肉、予民食之、然後啟行、從事以利亞。

耶穌昇天之日將至、則定向耶路撒冷而行、

仍與偕行、言間、忽有車馬、如火炎炎、間隔二人、以利亞乘大風而昇天。

耶和華乘大風謂約百曰、

二先知聞聲自天云、爾可上、即乘雲升穹蒼、諸敵皆目擊、

以利沙又至吉甲、歲大饑、先知之徒、坐於其前、乃命從者曰、置巨釜於火、為先知之徒煮羹。

我往之後、耶和華之神必感爾、使爾他往、不知何適、我既進告、彼索爾不得、則必殺我、然我自幼迄今、寅畏耶和華。

耶穌言畢、升天、眾觀有雲蔽之、而不見、

又行一日、至於曠野、坐於金雀花下、求欲喪命、曰、而今已矣、望耶和華取我生命、蓋我較之他先知、無能出乎其上。
