我將以靈置於其衷、俾其聞風、而歸故土、在彼使仆於刃、○

Listen! When he hears a certain report, I will make him want to return to his own country, and there I will have him cut down with the sword.’”

蓋耶和華使亞蘭軍旅、聞車聲馬聲、大軍之聲、則相語曰、以色列王必賄赫族、與埃及諸王、來攻我矣、

彼發矢以潰敵、屢閃電而亂之兮、耶和華歟、因爾叱咤、鼻息之發、海底見而地基露兮、

上帝吹噓、彼則喪亡、上帝震怒、彼則消滅、

是夜耶和華之使者出、在亞述營、擊其人十八萬五千、晨起視之、乃屍而已、亞述王西拿基立遂去而返、居於尼尼微、崇拜其神於尼斯洛廟時、亞得米勒與沙利色以刃弒之、遁於亞拉臘地、其子以撒哈頓嗣位、

驚駭之聲、常聞於耳、亨通之時、殘賊臨之、

秉公義以鞫貧乏者、持中正以擬世之謙卑者、以口杖擊斯土、以脣氣殺惡人、

我之上帝蒞臨、必不緘默、有火燬於其前、烈風雷雨環之兮、

耶和華曰、我必起肅殺之風、以擊巴比倫、及立加米居民、

將布羅網於惡人烈火硫磺炎颷、盈其杯兮、

有風聲自耶和華出、我聞之矣、有使奉遣至列邦曰、爾其集而攻之、咸起而戰、

心毋恇怯、聞風聲於斯土、亦毋驚惶、蓋今歲必聞風聲、明年亦然、境內有強暴、民長相攻、

俄巴底亞所得之啟示、論以東曰、我儕自耶和華得聞音信、有使者奉遣至列邦曰、其起、我儕其起、與之戰、

緣此、萬軍之主耶和華、將使肥者為瘠、其貨財之下、如爇火而焚、以色列之光為火、其聖者為焰、一日之間、燬其荊棘蒺藜、爇其茂林腴田之榮華、身心俱滅、勢如病者日漸衰頹、

耶和華遣使於亞述王營、滅其勇土、軍長將帥、亞述王蒙羞、返其故土、入其神廟、為其親生之子所弒、
