他從哪條路來，也必從哪條路回去：這城他不能進：這是永恆主發神諭說的。

我永恆主必用鈎子鈎住你的腮頰，使你河中的魚貼住你的鱗甲；我必將你跟你河中所有的魚、就是貼住你鱗甲的、都從你河中拉上。

主永恆主指着他自己的聖德來起誓說：看吧，日子快要臨到你們，人必用鈎子將你們鈎去，用魚鈎將你們餘留下的鈎掉。

你能用燈草繩紮住牠的鼻子麼？能用刺鈎穿透牠的腮骨麼？

我必調轉你，用鈎子鈎住你的腮頰，將你和你的全軍、馬匹馬兵、都帶出來，他們都穿着全副軍裝，一大團隊，有大牌小盾，都拿着刀劍；

惡人為甚麼藐視上帝，心裏說：『你必不追究呢』？其實你已經看見；因為毒害與愁苦、你都觀看，為要以手行鑒察；窮而無告者將自己放交與你；只有你是幫助孤兒的。

『世界若恨你們，你們該知道在恨你們以先、它已經恨了我了。

不要忘記你敵人的聲音，那起來攻擊你、的人的鬨嚷不斷地上升。

『頸項剛硬、心與耳沒受割禮的人哪，你們永遠抗拒聖靈；你們的祖宗怎樣，你們也怎樣。

使諸海之怒號、其波浪之怒號、和萬國之民的喧嘩平靜的；

他的氣如漲溢的溪河，直漲到人的脖子，要用毁滅的篩羅篩淨列國；用使人走錯的轡頭放在萬族之民口中。

你不可像無知的騾馬，須用嚼環轡頭做裝備去勒住牠，否則牠不走近你。

永恆主啊，洪流揚了起來，洪流揚了聲，洪流揚起着衝激的浪。永恆主在高天、大有威力，勝過諸水的雷轟聲，其威力勝過洋海的激浪。

亞述王西拿基立拔了營走，就回去，住在尼尼微。他在他的神尼斯洛廟裏叩拜的時候，亞得米勒、他兒子、和沙利色、用刀弒殺了他，逃到亞拉臘地。他兒子以撒哈頓接替他作王。

他們便滿心狂怒，彼此討論，該怎樣辦耶穌。

列邦喧嚷，萬國動搖；上帝發聲，地便熔化。

因為你的仇敵在喧嚷着呢；恨惡你的在昂首抬頭呢。

列國為甚麼彼此串通？萬族之民為甚麼謀算不能成功的事呢？地上君王列陣站着，眾人君一同陰謀，要敵擋永恆主，敵擋他所膏立的，說：『我們來掙開他們的捆綁，來脫掉他們的繩索吧。』那坐在天上的必冷笑；永恆主必嗤笑他們。那時他必氣忿忿責備他們，必發烈怒使他們驚惶；傳諭旨說：

恨我的，也恨我的父。我若沒有在他們中間行過別人所沒有行過的事，他們就沒有罪；如今呢、連我與我的父、他們都看見了，也都恨惡了。

他們用鈎子給鈎住於籠中，帶他到巴比倫王那裏，將他放進營寨裏，使他的聲音不再被聽到以色列山上。

你的敵人在你的會所中吼叫；他們豎了自己的旗號為標幟。

永恆主啊，求你以義忿起來，挺身而立，抵擋我敵人的暴怒。求你為我而奮發，以行你所命定的審判。
