因爾向我暴怒、及爾狂傲之聲、達於我耳、我必置鈎於爾鼻、置勒於爾口、使循原途而返、

因爾狂妄驕奢、升聞於上、故必置圈於爾鼻、置勒於爾口、使爾仍由其途而返。

因爾之怒號向我、又聞爾驕傲之聲、故必穿環於爾鼻、置勒於爾口、使爾由來道而返、

Because you rage against me and because your insolence has reached my ears, I will put my hook in your nose and my bit in your mouth, and I will make you return by the way you came.’

You roar against me and brag. And I have heard your bragging. So I will put my hook in your nose. I will put my bit in your mouth. And I will make you go home by the same way you came.” ’ ”

Because you have raged against me and your complacency has come into my ears, I will put my hook in your nose and my bit in your mouth, and I will turn you back on the way by which you came.

And because of your raging against me and your arrogance, which I have heard for myself, I will put my hook in your nose and my bit in your mouth. I will make you return by the same road on which you came.”

他必循他來的路回去，他必不能來到這城，這是耶和華的宣告。

但我耶和華必用鈎子鈎住你的腮頰，使你河中的魚都緊貼著你的鱗甲，我必把你和你河中所有緊貼著你的鱗甲的魚，都從你河中拉上來。

主耶和華指著自己的聖潔起誓：“看哪！對付你們的日子快到，人必用鈎子把你們鈎走，最後一個也必被人用魚鈎鈎去。

能把草繩穿進牠的鼻子嗎？能用刺鈎穿透牠的腮骨嗎？

我必使你轉過來，用鈎子鈎住你的腮頰，把你和你的全軍、馬匹和騎兵，都領出來，他們都穿著全副軍裝，成為大隊人馬，配備大小盾牌，各人緊握刀劍。

惡人為甚麼藐視神，心裡說：“你必不追究”呢？其實你已經看見了，憂患與愁苦你都已經看到，並且放在自己的手中；不幸的人把自己交託你；你是幫助孤兒的。

“如果世人恨你們，你們要知道他們在恨你們以先，已經恨我了。

求你不要忘記你敵人的聲音，不要忘記那些起來與你為敵的人不住加劇地喧鬧。

“你們頸項剛硬、心和耳都未受割禮的人哪！你們時常抗拒聖靈，你們的祖先怎樣，你們也怎樣。

你平息了海洋的洪濤和澎湃的巨浪，以及萬民的喧嘩。

他的氣息如漲溢的河水，直漲到頸項，並要用毀滅的篩把列國篩淨，又在眾民口中放入使人步向滅亡的嚼環。

你不可像無知的騾馬，如果不用嚼環轡頭勒住牠們，牠們就不肯走近。

耶和華啊！大水揚起了，大水揚起了聲音，大水揚起了澎湃的波浪。耶和華在高處大有能力，勝過大水的響聲，勝過海中的巨浪。

於是亞述王西拿基立拔營離開，回去住在尼尼微。一日，他正在他的神亞斯洛的廟中叩拜的時候，亞得米勒和沙利色用刀刺殺了他，然後逃到亞拉臘地。他的兒子以撒哈頓接續他作王。

他們卻大怒，彼此商議怎樣對付耶穌。

列邦喧嚷，萬國動搖；神一發聲，地就融化。

看哪！你的仇敵喧嘩，恨你的人都抬起頭來。

列國為甚麼騷動？萬民為甚麼空謀妄想？世上的君王起來，首領聚在一起，敵對耶和華和他所膏立的，說：“我們來掙斷他們給我們的束縛，擺脫他們的繩索！”那坐在天上的必發笑，主必譏笑他們。那時，他必在烈怒中對他們講話，在震怒中使他們驚慌，說：

恨我的，也恨我的父。如果我沒有在他們中間作過別人沒有作過的事，他們就沒有罪；但現在我和我的父，他們都看見了，也都恨惡。

他們把牠放進籠裡，用鈎子帶到巴比倫王那裡，囚在獄中，使牠的聲音在以色列眾山上不再聽見。

你的敵人在敬拜你的聚會中吼叫，他們豎起了自己的旗幟為記號。

耶和華啊！求你在怒中起來，求你挺身而起，抵擋我敵人的暴怒，求你為我興起；你已經出令施行審判。
