Hezekiah prayed before the LORD:“ LORD God of Israel, who is enthroned on the cherubs! You alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the sky and the earth.

And Hezekiah prayed to the Lord:“ Lord, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

Hezekiah prayed to the Lord. He said,“ Lord, you are the God of Israel. You sit on your throne between the cherubim. You alone are God over all the kingdoms on earth. You have made heaven and earth.

And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord and said:“ O Lord, the God of Israel, enthroned above the cherubim, you are the God, you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; you have made heaven and earth.

And Hezekiah prayed this prayer before the Lord:“ O Lord, God of Israel, you are enthroned between the mighty cherubim! You alone are God of all the kingdoms of the earth. You alone created the heavens and the earth.

Then Hezekiah prayed before the LORD: LORD God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you are God— you alone— of all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the heavens and the earth.

Hezekiah prayed before the Lord and said,“ Lord, God of Israel, enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

Then Hezekiah prayed before the Lord, and said:“ O Lord God of Israel, the One who dwells between the cherubim, You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

And Hezekiah prayed before Jehovah, and said, O Jehovah, the God of Israel, that sittest above the cherubim, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.

Then Hezekiah prayed before the Lord: Lord God of Israel who is enthroned above the cherubim, You are God— You alone— of all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the heavens and the earth.

And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest[ between] the cherubims, thou art the God,[ even] thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.

Hezekiah prayed before Yahweh, and said,“ Yahweh, the God of Israel, who are enthroned above the cherubim, you are the God, even you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

I will meet with you there, and from above the atonement lid, from between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the testimony, I will speak with you about all that I will command you for the Israelites.

The oppressed and the poor look for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched from thirst. I, the LORD, will respond to their prayers; I, the God of Israel, will not abandon them.

This is what the LORD, Israel’s king, says, their protector, the LORD who commands armies:“ I am the first and I am the last, there is no God but me.

He and his entire entourage returned to the prophet. Naaman came and stood before him. He said,“ For sure I know that there is no God in all the earth except in Israel! Now, please accept a gift from your servant.”

When all the people saw this, they threw themselves down with their faces to the ground and said,“ The LORD is the true God! The LORD is the true God!”

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God.The Word was with God in the beginning.All things were created by him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.

But at the end of the appointed time I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up toward heaven, and my sanity returned to me. I extolled the Most High, and I praised and glorified the one who lives forever. For his authority is an everlasting authority, and his kingdom extends from one generation to the next.All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he wishes with the army of heaven and with those who inhabit the earth. No one slaps his hand and says to him,‘ What have you done?’

Jabez called out to the God of Israel,“ If only you would greatly bless me and expand my territory! May your hand be with me! Keep me from harm so I might not endure pain!” God answered his prayer.

In earlier times you established the earth; the skies are your handiwork.

He prayed:“ O LORD God of our ancestors, you are the God who lives in heaven and rules over all the kingdoms of the nations. You possess strength and power; no one can stand against you.

King David went in, sat before the LORD, and said,“ Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my family, that you should have brought me to this point?And you didn’t stop there, O LORD God! You have also spoken about the future of your servant’s family. Is this your usual way of dealing with men, O LORD God?What more can David say to you? You have given your servant special recognition, O LORD God!For the sake of your promise and according to your purpose you have done this great thing in order to reveal it to your servant.Therefore you are great, O LORD God, for there is none like you! There is no God besides you! What we have heard is true!Who is like your people, Israel, a unique nation on the earth? Their God went to claim a nation for himself and to make a name for himself! You did great and awesome acts for your land, before your people whom you delivered for yourself from the Egyptian empire and its gods.You made Israel your very own people for all time. You, O LORD, became their God.So now, O LORD God, make this promise you have made about your servant and his family a permanent reality. Do as you promised,so you may gain lasting fame, as people say,‘ The LORD of hosts is God over Israel!’ The dynasty of your servant David will be established before you,for you, O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have told your servant,‘ I will build you a dynastic house.’ That is why your servant has had the courage to pray this prayer to you.Now, O sovereign LORD, you are the true God! May your words prove to be true! You have made this good promise to your servant!

You are my witnesses,” says the LORD,“ my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may consider and believe in me, and understand that I am he. No god was formed before me, and none will outlive me.

“ No longer will your name be Jacob,” the man told him,“ but Israel, because you have fought with God and with men and have prevailed.”

The priests brought the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its assigned place in the inner sanctuary of the temple, in the most holy place under the wings of the cherubs.The cherubs’ wings extended over the place where the ark sat; the cherubs overshadowed the ark and its poles.

The LORD reigns! The nations tremble. He sits enthroned above the winged angels; the earth shakes.

the one who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who remains forever faithful,

Asa prayed to the LORD his God:“ O LORD, there is no one but you who can help the weak when they are vastly outnumbered. Help us, O LORD our God, for we rely on you and have marched on your behalf against this huge army. O LORD our God, don’t let men prevail against you!”

There he set up an altar and called it“ The God of Israel is God.”

O shepherd of Israel, pay attention, you who lead Joseph like a flock of sheep! You who sit enthroned above the winged angels, reveal your splendor!

Turn to me so you can be delivered, all you who live in the earth’s remote regions! For I am God, and I have no peer.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Don’t panic! Don’t be afraid! Did I not tell you beforehand and decree it? You are my witnesses! Is there any God but me? There is no other sheltering rock; I know of none.

So I turned my attention to the Lord God to implore him by prayer and requests, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.I prayed to the LORD my God, confessing in this way:“ O Lord, great and awesome God who is faithful to his covenant with those who love him and keep his commandments,

King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz prayed about this and cried out to heaven.

For he spoke, and it came into existence, he issued the decree, and it stood firm.

So the army sent to Shiloh, and they took from there the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts who sits between the cherubim. Now the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phineas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.

This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created– when the LORD God made the earth and heavens.

The LORD is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King. When he shows his anger the earth shakes. None of the nations can stand up to his fury.You people of Israel should tell those nations this:‘ These gods did not make heaven and earth. They will disappear from the earth and from under the heavens.’The LORD is the one who by his power made the earth. He is the one who by his wisdom established the world. And by his understanding he spread out the skies.

He prayed:“ O LORD, God of Israel, there is no god like you in heaven above or on earth below! You maintain covenantal loyalty to your servants who obey you with sincerity.
