我要摧毁你们的丘坛，砍掉你们的香坛，把你们的尸首扔在你们偶像的残骸上。我的心也必厌恶你们，

你们占领的国家所事奉他们众神明的地方，无论是在高山，在小山，在一切的青翠树下，你们要彻底毁坏；要拆毁他们的祭坛，打碎他们的柱像，用火焚烧他们的亚舍拉，砍断他们神明的雕刻偶像，并要从那地方除去他们的名。

当那些日子，百姓仍在丘坛献祭，因为还没有为耶和华的名建殿。所罗门爱耶和华，遵行他父亲大卫的律例，只是还在丘坛献祭烧香。

约沙法效法他父亲亚撒所行的道，不偏离左右，行耶和华眼中看为正的事。只是丘坛还没有废去，百姓仍在那里献祭烧香。

城里的人清早起来，看哪，巴力的坛被拆毁，坛旁的亚舍拉被砍下，第二头公牛献在筑好的坛上，

你们却要这样处置他们：拆毁他们的祭坛，打碎他们的柱像，砍断他们的亚舍拉，用火焚烧他们雕刻的偶像。

从国中除去男的庙妓，又除掉他祖先所造的一切偶像。他甚至废了他祖母玛迦太后的位，因玛迦造了可憎的亚舍拉。亚撒砍下她的偶像，在汲沦溪边烧了，只是丘坛还没有废去。亚撒一生向耶和华存纯正的心。

那夜，耶和华对基甸说：“你要把你父亲的公牛，就是那七岁的第二头公牛取来，并拆毁你父亲为巴力筑的坛，砍下坛旁的亚舍拉，

你不可跪拜事奉他们的神明，也不可随从他们的习俗，却要彻底废除，完全打碎他们的柱像。

你们若对我说：我们倚靠耶和华—我们的上帝，希西家岂不是将上帝的丘坛和祭坛废去，并且吩咐犹大和耶路撒冷的人说：你们当在耶路撒冷这坛前敬拜吗？

只是丘坛还没有废去，百姓仍在丘坛献祭烧香。

摩西在旷野怎样举蛇，人子也必须照样被举起来，要使一切信他的人都得永生。

亚哈斯王吩咐乌利亚祭司说：“早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，国内众百姓的燔祭、素祭、浇酒祭都要烧在大坛上。燔祭牲和其他祭牲的血全都要洒在这坛上。至于铜坛，我要作求问之用。”

然而你还有善行，因你从国中除掉亚舍拉，立定心意寻求上帝。”

以丘坛惹他发怒，以雕刻的偶像使他忌恨。
