我要毁灭你们的丘坛，拆掉你们的香坛，把你们的尸体堆在你们毫无气息的神像上。我厌恶你们。

也许你会说，‘我们倚靠我们的上帝耶和华。’希西迦不是拆除了祂的庙宇和祭坛，又吩咐犹大和耶路撒冷的人要在耶路撒冷的祭坛前敬拜祂吗？

但他没有拆毁丘坛，人们仍在那里献祭烧香。

摩西在旷野怎样举起铜蛇，人子也必照样被举起来，叫一切信祂的人都得到永生。

他吩咐乌利亚祭司：“要在这座大坛上献早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，国中民众的燔祭、素祭和奠祭，燔祭牲和平安祭牲的血也要洒在上面，但铜坛要供我个人求问之用。”

然而你还有善行，因为你铲除境内的亚舍拉神像，立志寻求上帝。”
