亞述王提革拉毘尼色至、而不相助、反窘迫之、亞哈斯取耶和華室、及王宮牧伯家之物、餽亞述王、仍無裨益、

亞撒取耶和華室及王宮府庫之金銀、饋於居大馬色之亞蘭王便哈達曰、

故主必使亞述王、及其威勢、如大河之水、洶湧漲溢、出川踰岸、流入猶大、氾濫及項、以馬內利歟、彼展其翼、遍於爾地、○

掘造坎阱、自陷其中、其毒害必歸己首、其強暴必臨己頂、

耶和華必使患難之日臨爾、與爾民眾、及爾父家、自以法蓮叛離猶大、未有若此者、即亞述王為禍也、○
