Then King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying,“ On the great new altar burn the morning burnt offering, the evening grain offering, the king’s burnt sacrifice, and his grain offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their grain offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering and all the blood of the sacrifice. And the bronze altar shall be for me to inquire by.”

他吩咐乌利亚祭司：“要在这座大坛上献早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，国中民众的燔祭、素祭和奠祭，燔祭牲和平安祭牲的血也要洒在上面，但铜坛要供我个人求问之用。”

亚哈斯王吩咐乌利亚祭司说：“要在这大祭坛上焚烧早晨的燔祭、黄昏的素祭、王的燔祭牲和素祭、所有国民的燔祭和素祭；也要在坛上浇上他们的奠祭，以及所有燔祭牲和平安祭牲的血。至于铜祭坛，我要用来求问神。”

他吩咐烏利亞祭司：「要在這座大壇上獻早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，國中民眾的燔祭、素祭和奠祭，燔祭牲和平安祭牲的血也要灑在上面，但銅壇要供我個人求問之用。」

亞哈斯王吩咐烏利亞祭司說：“要在這大祭壇上焚燒早晨的燔祭、黃昏的素祭、王的燔祭牲和素祭、所有國民的燔祭和素祭；也要在壇上澆上他們的奠祭，以及所有燔祭牲和平安祭牲的血。至於銅祭壇，我要用來求問神。”

亞哈斯王便吩咐祭司烏利亞說：『早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭、王的燔祭和素祭、國中之民的燔祭素祭和奠祭、都要燻在大祭壇上；燔祭牲所有的血和平安祭牲的血也都要潑在這壇上；只是銅祭壇卻要給我做求問的用處。』

亞哈斯王命祭司烏利亞曰、朝之燔祭、夕之素祭、王之燔祭素祭、與庶民之燔祭素祭灌祭、皆當焚於大壇、燔祭與他祭牲之血、悉沃其上、惟彼銅壇、為我藉以諮諏之用、

命祭司烏哩亞曰、朝之燔祭、夕之禮物、王與兆民所獻之燔祭禮物、酒以灌奠、俱必獻於大壇、燔祭及禮物之血灑於其上、惟此銅壇、我用以諮諏上帝。

亞哈斯王命祭司烏利雅曰、朝之火焚祭、夕之素祭、王之火焚祭、素祭、與國民之火焚祭、素祭、皆當焚於大祭臺、酒亦當奠於此祭臺、火焚祭牲及他祭牲之血、悉灑其上、銅祭臺當如何用、我再思之、或作銅祭臺俟我問主時方用

King Ahaz then gave these orders to Uriah the priest:“ On the large new altar, offer the morning burnt offering and the evening grain offering, the king’s burnt offering and his grain offering, and the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their grain offering and their drink offering. Splash against this altar the blood of all the burnt offerings and sacrifices. But I will use the bronze altar for seeking guidance.”

Then King Ahaz gave orders to Uriah the priest. He said,“ Offer sacrifices on the large new altar. Offer the morning burnt offering and the evening grain offering. Offer my burnt offering and my grain offering. Offer the burnt offering of all the people of the land. Offer their grain offering and their drink offering. Splash against this altar the blood from all the burnt offerings and sacrifices. But I will use the bronze altar to look for advice and direction.”

And King Ahaz commanded Uriah the priest, saying,“ On the great altar burn the morning burnt offering and the evening grain offering and the king’s burnt offering and his grain offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their grain offering and their drink offering. And throw on it all the blood of the burnt offering and all the blood of the sacrifice, but the bronze altar shall be for me to inquire by.”

He told Uriah the priest,“ Use the new altar for the morning sacrifices of burnt offering, the evening grain offering, the king’s burnt offering and grain offering, and the burnt offerings of all the people, as well as their grain offerings and liquid offerings. Sprinkle the blood from all the burnt offerings and sacrifices on the new altar. The bronze altar will be for my personal use only.”

Then King Ahaz commanded the priest Uriah,“ Offer on the great altar the morning burnt offering, the evening grain offering, and the king’s burnt offering and his grain offering. Also offer the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their grain offering, and their drink offerings. Splatter on the altar all the blood of the burnt offering and all the blood of sacrifice. The bronze altar will be for me to seek guidance.”

Then King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying,“ Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, the evening meal offering, the king’s burnt offering and his meal offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their meal offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering and all the blood of the sacrifice. But the bronze altar shall be for me, for making inquiries.”

And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt- offering, and the evening meal- offering, and the king’s burnt- offering, and his meal- offering, with the burnt- offering of all the people of the land, and their meal- offering, and their drink- offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt- offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: but the brazen altar shall be for me to inquire by.

Then King Ahaz commanded Uriah the priest,“ Offer on the great altar the morning burnt offering, the evening grain offering, and the king’s burnt offering and his grain offering. Also offer the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their grain offering, and their drink offerings. Sprinkle on the altar all the blood of the burnt offering and all the blood of sacrifice. The bronze altar will be for me to seek guidance.”

And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meat offering, and the king’s burnt sacrifice, and his meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the brasen altar shall be for me to enquire[ by].

King Ahaz ordered Uriah the priest,“ On the large altar offer the morning burnt sacrifice, the evening grain offering, the royal burnt sacrifices and grain offering, the burnt sacrifice for all the people of Israel, their grain offering, and their libations. Sprinkle all the blood of the burnt sacrifice and other sacrifices on it. The bronze altar will be for my personal use.”

King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying,“ On the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, the evening meal offering, the king’s burnt offering, his meal offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their meal offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice; but the bronze altar will be for me to inquire by.”

One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight.With the one lamb shall be one-tenth of an ephah of flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering.And the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; and you shall offer with it the grain offering and the drink offering, as in the morning, for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

He removed the high places and broke the sacred pillars, cut down the wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made; for until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it, and called it Nehushtan.

And they brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats for a sin offering for the kingdom, for the sanctuary, and for Judah. Then he commanded the priests, the sons of Aaron, to offer them on the altar of the Lord.So they killed the bulls, and the priests received the blood and sprinkled it on the altar. Likewise they killed the rams and sprinkled the blood on the altar. They also killed the lambs and sprinkled the blood on the altar.Then they brought out the male goats for the sin offering before the king and the assembly, and they laid their hands on them.And the priests killed them; and they presented their blood on the altar as a sin offering to make an atonement for all Israel, for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering be made for all Israel.

On the same day the king consecrated the middle of the court that was in front of the house of the Lord; for there he offered burnt offerings, grain offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar that was before the Lord was too small to receive the burnt offerings, the grain offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.

“ Now when the prince makes a voluntary burnt offering or voluntary peace offering to the Lord, the gate that faces toward the east shall then be opened for him; and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings as he did on the Sabbath day. Then he shall go out, and after he goes out the gate shall be shut.“ You shall daily make a burnt offering to the Lord of a lamb of the first year without blemish; you shall prepare it every morning.And you shall prepare a grain offering with it every morning, a sixth of an ephah, and a third of a hin of oil to moisten the fine flour. This grain offering is a perpetual ordinance, to be made regularly to the Lord.

So they brought the ark of the Lord, and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord.And when David had finished offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts.

And the number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was seventy bulls, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs; all these were for a burnt offering to the Lord.

And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.

Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.

Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the Lord.King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand bulls and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.

“ Command the children of Israel, and say to them,‘ My offering, My food for My offerings made by fire as a sweet aroma to Me, you shall be careful to offer to Me at their appointed time.’“ And you shall say to them,‘ This is the offering made by fire which you shall offer to the Lord: two male lambs in their first year without blemish, day by day, as a regular burnt offering.The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, the other lamb you shall offer in the evening,and one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil.It is a regular burnt offering which was ordained at Mount Sinai for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.And its drink offering shall be one-fourth of a hin for each lamb; in a holy place you shall pour out the drink to the Lord as an offering.The other lamb you shall offer in the evening; as the morning grain offering and its drink offering, you shall offer it as an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.‘ And on the Sabbath day two lambs in their first year, without blemish, and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil, with its drink offering—this is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, besides the regular burnt offering with its drink offering.

My people ask counsel from their wooden idols, And their staff informs them. For the spirit of harlotry has caused them to stray, And they have played the harlot against their God.

The burnt offering that the prince offers to the Lord on the Sabbath day shall be six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish;and the grain offering shall be one ephah for a ram, and the grain offering for the lambs, as much as he wants to give, as well as a hin of oil with every ephah.On the day of the New Moon it shall be a young bull without blemish, six lambs, and a ram; they shall be without blemish.He shall prepare a grain offering of an ephah for a bull, an ephah for a ram, as much as he wants to give for the lambs, and a hin of oil with every ephah.

“ And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.

For You have forsaken Your people, the house of Jacob, Because they are filled with eastern ways; They are soothsayers like the Philistines, And they are pleased with the children of foreigners.

Also he caused his sons to pass through the fire in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom; he practiced soothsaying, used witchcraft and sorcery, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.

Now it happened in the morning, when the grain offering was offered, that suddenly water came by way of Edom, and the land was filled with water.

‘ Now if the whole congregation of Israel sins unintentionally, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done something against any of the commandments of the Lord in anything which should not be done, and are guilty;when the sin which they have committed becomes known, then the assembly shall offer a young bull for the sin, and bring it before the tabernacle of meeting.And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before the Lord. Then the bull shall be killed before the Lord.The anointed priest shall bring some of the bull’s blood to the tabernacle of meeting.Then the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, in front of the veil.And he shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar which is before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of meeting; and he shall pour the remaining blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.He shall take all the fat from it and burn it on the altar.And he shall do with the bull as he did with the bull as a sin offering; thus he shall do with it. So the priest shall make atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.Then he shall carry the bull outside the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bull. It is a sin offering for the assembly.‘ When a ruler has sinned, and done something unintentionally against any of the commandments of the Lord his God in anything which should not be done, and is guilty,or if his sin which he has committed comes to his knowledge, he shall bring as his offering a kid of the goats, a male without blemish.And he shall lay his hand on the head of the goat, and kill it at the place where they kill the burnt offering before the Lord. It is a sin offering.The priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and pour its blood at the base of the altar of burnt offering.And he shall burn all its fat on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice of the peace offering. So the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering.

Is not this the one from which my Lord drinks, and with which he indeed practices divination? You have done evil in so doing.’”

Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”

He also brought the bronze altar which was before the Lord, from the front of the temple— from between the new altar and the house of the Lord— and put it on the north side of the new altar.

Also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the Lord was set in order.
