因此各方、各國、各族的人民一聽見角、笛、琵琶、琴、瑟，和各樣樂器的聲音，就都俯伏敬拜尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像。

連先知帶祭司都是褻瀆的，就是在我殿中我也看見他們的惡。這是耶和華說的。

我現在是要得人的心呢？還是要得神的心呢？我豈是討人的喜歡嗎？若仍舊討人的喜歡，我就不是基督的僕人了。

以法蓮因樂從人的命令，就受欺壓，被審判壓碎。

祭司亞撒利雅率領耶和華勇敢的祭司八十人，跟隨他進去。他們就阻擋烏西雅王，對他說：「烏西雅啊，給耶和華燒香不是你的事，乃是亞倫子孫承接聖職祭司的事。你出聖殿吧！因為你犯了罪。你行這事，耶和華神必不使你得榮耀。」

祭司的嘴裏當存知識，人也當由他口中尋求律法，因為他是萬軍之耶和華的使者。你們卻偏離正道，使許多人在律法上跌倒。你們廢棄我與利未所立的約。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。所以我使你們被眾人藐視，看為下賤；因你們不守我的道，竟在律法上瞻徇情面。」
