Then King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria. He saw an altar in Damascus and sent to Uriah the priest a sketch of the altar, with detailed plans for its construction.

Then King Ahaz went to Damascus. He went there to see Tiglath- Pileser, the king of Assyria. Ahaz saw an altar in Damascus. He sent a drawing of it to Uriah the priest. Ahaz also sent him plans for building it.

When King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, he saw the altar that was at Damascus. And King Ahaz sent to Uriah the priest a model of the altar, and its pattern, exact in all its details.

耶和華如此說：「不要效法列國的行為，任憑列國因天象驚惶，你們不要驚惶。

他們若因自己所做的一切感到羞愧，你就要將殿的規模、樣式、出口、入口，以及有關整體規模的條例、禮儀、律法指示他們，在他們眼前寫下，使他們遵照殿整體的規模和條例去做。

他向那攻擊他的大馬士革的神明獻祭，說：「因為亞蘭王的神明幫助他們，我也要向這些神明獻祭，好讓它們幫助我。」但那些神明卻使他和全以色列敗亡。亞哈斯聚集神殿裏的器皿，把神殿裏的器皿都打碎了，並且封鎖耶和華殿的門，又在耶路撒冷各處的轉角為自己建築祭壇。他在猶大各城建立丘壇，向別神燒香，惹耶和華－他列祖的神發怒。

因他們使自己的門檻挨近我的門檻，使自己的門框挨近我的門框，又使他們與我之間僅隔一牆，並且行可憎的事，玷污我的聖名，所以我發怒滅絕他們。

他們把人的規條當作教義教導人；他們拜我也是枉然。』」

摩西將耶和華一切的命令都寫下來。他清早起來，在山腳築了一座壇，按着以色列十二支派立了十二根石柱。

不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，叫你們察驗何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。

摩西看見這一切的工，看哪，耶和華怎樣吩咐，他們就照樣做了，摩西就為他們祝福。

在以色列王比加的日子，亞述王提革拉‧毗列色來奪取以雲、亞伯‧伯‧瑪迦、亞挪、基低斯、夏瑣、基列、加利利和拿弗他利全地，把這些地方的居民都擄到亞述去了。

大衛指示他兒子所羅門有關殿的走廊、屋子、庫房、樓房、內殿和櫃蓋之處的樣式，被靈感動所得的一切樣式：耶和華殿的院子、周圍一切的房屋、神殿的庫房和聖物庫房；

這樣，他們被自己所做的玷污了，在行為上犯了淫亂。

就可以不孝敬他的父親。』這就是你們藉着傳統，廢了神的話。

你們知道，你們得以從你們祖先傳下來虛妄的行為中救贖出來，不是靠着會朽壞的金銀等物，

那時你要謹慎，在他們從你面前被除滅之後，你不可受引誘隨從他們，也不可求問他們的神明，說：『這些國家怎樣事奉他們的神明，我也要照樣做。』

大衛說：「這一切，所有工作的樣式，是耶和華用手寫的文件使我明白的。」

阿荷利巴一看見就戀慕他們，派遣使者往迦勒底他們那裏去。巴比倫人來到她那裏，上了她愛情的床，與她行淫污辱她。她被污辱，隨後她的心卻與他們生疏。
