彼以人所命者、為教而訓人、故徒然奉事我云、

摩西錄主之一切言、夙興、建祭臺於山下、立十二柱、循以色列十二支派、

勿效乎此世、爾心維新而自化、使爾明辨天主之旨、其旨至善可悅且純全者也、

彼所作者污穢己身、所行者淫從偶像、

遂可不敬父母、是爾以爾遺傳而廢天主之誡矣、

蓋爾之妄行、由爾祖所傳者、爾得贖以脫之、知非以金銀可壞之物、

彼見滅於爾前之後、慎毋隨其惡俗陷於罪網、毋求其所敬之神、毋自言此諸國之民、如何事其諸神、我亦欲如是行、

大衛曰、以上諸式、乃我得主默示而圖之也、

彼見其像、即戀愛之、遣使至迦勒底見之、巴比倫人來就之登榻、相戀相愛、行淫玷污之、既受巴比倫人之玷污、其心則厭之、
