The Lord afflicted the king with leprosy until the day he died, and he lived in a separate house. Jotham the king’s son had charge of the palace and governed the people of the land.

The Lord caused King Uzziah to suffer from a skin disease until the day he died. He lived in a separate house. His son Jotham was in charge of the palace. Jotham ruled over the people of the land.

And the Lord touched the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and he lived in a separate house. And Jotham the king’s son was over the household, governing the people of the land.

他常常清早起來，站在城門的通道旁邊。每當有人來找王審理爭訟時，押沙龍便問他是從哪一座城來的，那人就會報上自己所屬的支派。押沙龍會對他說：「你的申訴合情合理，可惜王沒有派人來聽你申訴。」他接著會說：「要是我被立為國中的審判官就好了！那樣，任何人有申訴都可以來找我，我一定會為他主持公道。」

約押和他全家要承擔這罪，願他的後代永遠有長瘡的、患皮膚病的、拄拐杖的、被刀劍所殺的或挨餓的。」

祂不偏袒王侯，也不輕貧重富，因為他們都是祂親手造的。

以色列人聽見王這樣斷案，都敬畏他，因為他們知道他有上帝所賜的智慧，可以秉公執法。

雲彩從會幕上離開的時候，米利暗身上患了痲瘋病，像雪一樣白。亞倫見狀，

因此，你和你的後代會永遠沾染乃縵的痲瘋病。」基哈西離開以利沙時，患了痲瘋病，皮膚像雪一樣白。

大衛統治全以色列，他秉公行義治理百姓。

烏西雅強盛後，便心高氣傲，以致走向滅亡。他干犯他的上帝耶和華，擅自進入耶和華的殿在香壇上燒香。祭司亞撒利雅率領八十位耶和華勇敢的祭司跟著進殿，阻止烏西雅王，說：「烏西雅啊，給耶和華燒香不是你可以做的事，乃是承受聖職做祭司的亞倫子孫的事。離開聖所吧！你已干犯耶和華上帝，必不能從祂那裡得榮耀。」手拿香爐要燒香的烏西雅大怒，正當他在耶和華殿裡的香壇旁向眾祭司發怒的時候，他額頭上突然患了痲瘋病。亞撒利雅大祭司和眾祭司見狀，就催促他出殿，他急忙出去了，因為耶和華降災給他。烏西雅王到死一直有痲瘋病。他被隔離在別的宮中，不得進耶和華的殿。他兒子約坦管理王室，治理國家。烏西雅其他的事蹟，自始至終都是亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞先知記載的。烏西雅與祖先同眠後，葬在他祖墳附近、王室的墳場，因為他有痲瘋病。他兒子約坦繼位。

上帝啊，求你將你的公正賜給王，將你的公義賜給王的兒子。

「遇到痲瘋病，你們要謹遵利未祭司的指示。你們要謹遵我對他們的吩咐。

城門口有四個痲瘋病人，他們商量說：「我們為什麼坐在這裡等死呢？

求你賜我智慧治理你的子民，並能辨別是非；不然，我又怎能治理你這眾多的子民呢？」
